Why block C basement structure abit out of shape?
*
If you look at the site map, the platform shape you looking at, are actually cover the garden area as well, see the map below.

WOTP construction progress.

Thank you!! zack kor. shot from the apartment?

No problem guys. It's not easy to get in..I've to pretend like a resident there, the guards keep staring at me.. and found an unlock unit otherwise there's no way to take a site picture. Lumiere side is easy as I can peak through the corridor ends.

Hopefully Lumiere construction would start as soon as possible, otherwise when WOTP ready and we moved in, there will be a lot of noise. It's really bad at Five Stones, with The Hub constructing especially those blocks facing it directly.

Very poor security management I would say for that apartment. haha so easily get into the unit.. biggrin.gif

It's really low cost apartment.. It almost like flat, actually its a little weird to have guards at all.

On the site map, it says toward will goes to Damai Perdana, is that mean they will be making a route connecting to the other side? That would be an awesome news! And turning left to go Balakong..that makes accessibility much much better!

Those Semi-Ds starts from 1.7mil, Bungalow 3.9mil..

Next to Block B is semi dee factories, probably, light industries.  I believe  SDB will plant something to block off those factories.
*
Oh no.. Maybe taller trees to block off the view. What about west side, will it leads to Damai Perdana? On the beringin avenue site map it says so. That would open up an access to school, Damai Park, mrt line 2, and those existing shop lots there.

I've received a call from OCBC informing me that SDB has not release payment to them. Wondering why they informing me? The bank expecting me to chase for them for the payment?

Yes, u should chase the bank if not any delay of the due payment will be borne by you.
*
Er..no. Not the bank, its SDB.. The call is from Bank chasing for the interest payment which SDB supposed to pay cover under the DIBS they offer.

RHB aso text me chasing for payment.  Its look like SDB did not pay the bank on time even we are taking DIBS.
Maverick, have you inform SDB regarding this issue?
*
Just talked to Sukie the SA. She said payment already settled earlier but banks probably have not notified. So no worries...
Was passing by the other day, progress seem slow..construction still at ground and maybe 1st floor. SDB site no update as well on the progress since June 2013..

If delay, good for those taking DIBS & aso getting LAD.  To me, it's fine to delay too. ..  rclxms.gif
*
LAD not as straight forward as that. Those who got theirs signed earliest will get pay, 3 years period start from the day u signed the SPA, not from the construction commence date nor your booking date. So most of us won't get..they can delay half a year, probably just paying LAD to 5% of those early buyers.

Yes, Bolock B bigger garden view, but not sure why sdb put their pricing facing swinmming pool is more expensive by 50-60k..
*
That because based on Block A, those facing facilities has much higher demand.. :-)

this is an earthquake resistant building, I guess it take longer time to construct the foundation and structure to withstand earthquakes compare to conventional buildings.

Any idea how does it work?

*
Did they just recently told you they can deliver by Oct 2015? If so at least they mentioned a specific month.. I got a feeling its gonna be early 2016..

It's all about cost isn't it, at the end of the day, they are a company in for the revenue. Planting mature trees will be more costly, that's why I was disappointed during the VP of Five Stones.
*
As I remembered, I've read in one of those SDB news article, mentioned the trees would be planted somewhere when the construction starts and will move in to the site when it's ready.

There are nurseries that provide services of storing and maintaining trees at a holding areas, to be moved and transplanted to a project when they are needed.

[attachmentid=3941119][attachmentid=3941120]

Will the park look something like these when you first move in.....

[attachmentid=3941123][attachmentid=3941125][attachmentid=3941126]

....not likely....few years down the road...possible.

These are the actual plants and trees to be placed in WOTP..
