1 unit is more than enough for me. Only can 6c6c on block a & b.
*
Any idea when they start selling Block B? The new layout - 1800sqft personally I think its not as nice as the original layout, as they have combined both wet and dry kitchen and added a maid room.

start selling d....look like bigger wet kitchen with no dry kitchen. new trend or back trend?
more option for those like all in 1 kitchen. larger version of block C kitchen?...lol
*
Actually it looks like its not bigger but they sacrificed the dry kitchen area to be replaced with wet kitchen and the original 1685sqft wet kitchen replaced with Maid room.
So the living room becomes smaller now. Probably because there's demand for it, small family that have a maid.

haha, can put the maid stay in utilities room....i still prefer the original 1694sqft layout, more spacious. Have a fren in HK, their maid actually sleep on top of the kitchen cabinet or in the kitchen haha...malaysian maid are more fortunate
*
LOL, seriously? Sleeping hugging the microwave on top of cabinet shelves?
Agreed that the 1694sqft is still the best layout, very well designed. The rest of the bigger sizes are just the expanded version of that, with more luxury spaces.

The key selling point of WOTP is being linear arrangement and massive landscaping which not many condos are offering nowadays. Some people just don't appreciate on the concept. Or sometimes people not afford to eat grapes will say it sour?? which one is which? lol...
*
Concept is pretty awesome but it really depends how well the landscape is being done in actual thing, we will see that when its ready. The rest of the facilities is all about quality and simplicity which I like, coz things are better keep simple as the design will looks great even 10-20-50 years later.

The building exterior design is pretty normal I agree but not simple, i would have prefer something even more simple, something like The Village with contrast color white + dark grey, but I guess its the overall buildings that makes it stand out - Orientation of the building in V shapes, which is rather unique. Yes you can say so its design with a long corridor like a flat but I believe none of the details will look like one and corridor would be awesome with lotsa neutral light and ventilation. Part of the reason is because its designed with linear layout which to me its 'premium' design, most condo could not design in such way as it require huge space.

I think the park path can be improved, less dead end and straighter path would be great for running and also cycling (If allowed).

By the way to let you guys know, the main entrance wooden door would be changed to Black, which I personally prefer the original version which is in Oak texture - Brown Oranges Wood.

along the corridor, will it able to view some of the units' yard area? and is the corridor expose to the natural sunlight?
*
Yes it is. If you look at the plan your opposite neighbours are separated between 2 blocks unless the units are nearer on the other ends still the gap are huge ..so lotsa privacy.
Therefore the corridor one side are open space hence exposed to natural sunlight, semi shaded by the bricks with holes. One issue is probably it will get wet when its raining and wind blowing, probably those high floor will be affected just like the same issue with Five Stones.

i like the design expose more to sun light but at the same time, the bad thing is when it rain, the floor will get wet easilly, and from time to time, the rain water mark wil start appear on the wall which make it looks real ugly...
*
That depends on the material and paint being used. Just like the other side of the building walls which facing out, its exposed to rain as well. It wont have water mark..unless bad quality stuff are being applied..

I like the building design more than concept! V shape.. n especially the "windows" will be the killer scenery. The parks is pretty simple and nothing fancy. but i think this is nice n elegance... Very 80s n 70s!

Can cycle I think. Saw kid tricycle on the Wotp illustrated park picture...lol.

Oh.... Door change to charcoal Black...hope the texture of the door look good.
*
Guess cycling is for kids then... the park terrain a little hilly, can mountain bike as well I guess.
I prefer the original oak door color anytime over the black one.

The swings in the park has been removed. Not sure if it still available in the actual plan.

Don't think there is swing la...upon vp the trees going to be so small...not strong enough for those swings. unless they start planting those big trees now....
*
They actually did mentioned partially or all the trees will be planted somewhere else first and move in when the building is ready.

I've missed it too then. That time still have drop off units 5th floor at 750k rebates for 1694sf. But that time my mind also sticked with the Dreamcity 1430sf 750k. More spacious of Wotp but Lake front attracts me more.
fate...fate... and now ... =P
*
750K for 1685sqft so low, thought it starts somewhere around 840K? When was that offer?

SA said my booking fee are ready to collect. Not sure about Block C, but Block A about 2 months after 2nd bank release. I believe the 10 percent are the 2nd release right?
Anyone have any update on development progress?

got such thing?  shocking.gif  shocking.gif  Shouldnt be...
I only know WOTP carpark is tandem type, not side byside.
*
Yeah already have the car park plan and parking lot number. Seem like all the car park is on block A area. Block C area currently reserved for future extension.

Car park spaces should be more than enough as the land is huge if they used up all the space.
I believe most owners will have at least 2-4 cars a unit, definitely some people will need to rent

If you go Window shopping for a property, and come across a brief Window of opportunity to buy a gem of a property, don't throw it out of the Window, if you don't grap it, it passes you by....there is no Window dressing in Windows on the Park to set it apart from all other developments in the area, it is really a very good and marvellous property! Do you think I can be  a SA for WOTP? hahaha...
*
Yes you may apply.. The left over units will sold out in no time.

I think is great if there are more prestigious and luxurious developments surrounding the area, it will make the area more upscale, and may become Cheras's " hottest" neighbourhood, favour by professionals and families. rclxms.gif

There'll be at least 5 confirmed condo development...we need more amenities.

What are the 5 of them? Are they below?
1. Wotp
2. Casa green
3. Vina
4. Lumiere
5. Altitude 236
*
Not Altitude236 as it's too far to consider in that area.
There's another condo in Alam Damai Perdana by Mahajaya yet to be launch nearest to CloudTree. Not include that too.

The fifth I mean is UDA condo, which they have not launch but the development is confirmed.

I am sure if and when it become a much sought after upperclass residential area, the good and excellent amenities will follow suit nearby....UDA Town Park may become a thriving commercial hub with fine dining, pubs, entertainment outlets etc...may hv more health care facilities, international school, Motessori schools.....these will happen if there are demands.
*
Health care and international school maybe. Pubs probably hard..

There are convenient marts being banned by the communities there from selling beers.

If you look at the existing retailers there, it's all mainly targeting Malay communities.

rclxms.gif lets hope the proposed basketball court will be built. Or else WOTP may really lose facility wise.

From one of the article, Mrs Teh did mentioned the facilities rooms would be built with glass walls, if that so I assume the basketball court too...your dream comes true, haha.

Hmm... Went to hapseng Mercedes showroom..saw there got new road constructing. Maybe will connect to wotp. Good to have alternative road to make u turn.  Shorten the distance to the mines.

far end of wotp block b area got a few 2-3 storey landed houses constructing. Anyone know what project is that?
*
Where's the showroom? No idea where's that.. Yeah nobody seems to know about the construction on block b ends there. If there's a route connect to alam damai gayana area would be really awesome.
