Feature wise, Forte wins .... = what feature does forte wins? huh..
Engine wise, HE wins..... = sure..
Safety wise, Forte wins..... = agree cause of extra air bags
Quietness wise, i think both are equals.... = HE wins hand down...forte cabin noise eventhough <1month usage
Quality wise, CKD vs SKD.... = so HE wins on this

Fully agree for NVH, HE win hands down.
Don't agree with FC. Forte old engine while HE new dual cvvt. HE should be better.
Just compare old Toyota vvti and new dual vvti engine. New engine FC win hands down.

i dun wan to fight as this is HE's thread.....but all i can say is my 1.6Forte 4 spd can go up to 430km per full tank full city drive, using RON95 esso/bhp/caltex
feature is included safety .....that's y i said forte wins...same goes with extras in KOUP....
i knw is 4 doors vs 2 doors in Elantra 1.8P vs Forte Koup, but i was refering to C-segment vs C-segment, not C-segment vs B/D-segment....that's wat i mean in apple vs apple, orange vs orange.....as alot of ppl like to compare Forte vs VIOS/CITY when i m in Forte Club....that's call apple vs orange...
The CONS of HE 1.8P is the waiting period super long as a SKD model...the interesting part i see in HE 1.8P is electric driver seat and rain sensor...nothing else...

Hmmm, pretty tough call. I was in that dilemma too. Currently I have a Forte. Call me krazee but I have just booked an Elantra too (and getting rid of my Dugong). Now I have the best of both worlds. Forte for aggressive looks. Elantra for the elegant looks. laugh.gif

Test drove the Elantra, yes, the NVH is better than the Forte. But equipment wise, Forte wins hands down. Still cannot understand why hyundai did not provide auto retractable side mirrors, even my lowly Dugong has that. vmad.gif

Can't wait for my Elantra. Now have to wait for 1 month.... hmm.gif
