Heard rumor that Singapore will only launch after Oct 31. Starhub (local sg telco) give free Nexus 7 but only can get stock after Oct 31.

Very interesting news. Thanks for the heads up, eric! After Oct 31 only for Singapore? Hmm... does not sound too good for the Malaysian market then. Even if for some reason Malaysia gets it first, it won't be too much in advance of Singapore, I think. Maybe this could point to a simultaneous availability of both the 3G+WiFi and the WiFi only versions for the Malaysian and Singapore market? Fingers crossed!

yea wifi spot yes is everywhere, but got password protected as you said
if want those free wifi, best example are McD, starbuck, old town, etc
the tm wifi is the most stupid wifi I see ever, need to pay
same to celcom wifi

at last, 3g model is good, but nexus 7 main selling point is cheap and affordable with good spec
if really release 3g version the price not consider as cheap anymore, but still cheaper than current tablet in the market

just get 1 haha

btw I hope they release nexus 10 lol
7 inch seems too small, need the size like the A4 paper

gadgets size perception may change in time.

long ago i first see iphone, i'm like wow, such a big big screen.
now iphone is the tiniest screen around. pathetic.

last time hesitate to buy 4.3 inch phone worry too big,
now feel its so small, prefer 4.6/4.8 inch, or even 5.3 inch

last time feel tablet 10inch too small, (comparing to laptop), how to online/watch movie?
after using feel its very very nice and not bad at all.

now you feel 7 inch too small,
use it for a while, now i feel 10inch tablet too big, and HEAVY,
why carry extra weight when the 7inch one can do the same.
being that small and light, you can grab it in one palm comfortably for long duration, is really awesome.


TLDR?
dont judge the size too early, belum cuba belum tau.
you may end up liking it.

but now I already own ipad 2
if get the tablet it size really feel small

will try go get a hand on, normally just buy it, 1k can buy a tablet with popular branded + good spec
