i tried CNA rom not really that smooth. Tried Paranoid Android and im lovin' it. Really smooth and stable, you don't have to overclock or flash and other kernel. Just stick with the kernel it comes with. No stutter/lags at all in high-end gaming as well as in scrolling.

If i'm not mistaken, there are some apps that when use on tablets would show pixelated or 'enlarged' or outright not available for tablets at all. Also in the past, it seems tablet optimized apps were less. Just wondering has there been more apps generated for tables.

I have never experienced yet such issues on all the apps i use on the tablet. As said before what is your concern - which apps you are interested in . There is no specific apps that are tailored solely for tablets as ICS/JB has resolved such issues unlike Honeycomb
You keep asking this and you will get same answer

just flash the CNA latest version.

it feels just like stock rom.
but got some CM and AOKP features.

project butter definitely there. everything smooth like stock.
unfortunately the option to hide/unhide navigation bar not there.

not a big deal, will use for few days see how then only judge it.
its using an unknown kernal.
3.1.10-06206-gc3e0d3d paul@ubuntu #37

lets see if this CNA really give extra 30% battery life. laugh.gif

just notice this is a non wipe rom. yeah icon_rolleyes.gif

Any suggestion on icon packs that are nice on Nexus 7? I had Circimal, Retrofied and Buuf on. They are pixelly.

But then they are nice on Galaxy Nexus though.

Is haptic feedback/vibration on key press supported in N7? Can't find my way around to enable it. Or is my unit defective?

Even thumb keyboard when enable also nothing happen.

In settings/language & input - select the keyboard you want ( eg AOSP) - and select the settings icon to the right - you can select sound on keypress - is on by default
It works very well . Anyway I disable it as i find it a nuisance
If no sound, try reflash the rom before considering hardware failure
No issues at all with thumb keyboard either - you must select these sound n haptic options at its settings as is turn off by default

Uncle, i think you misunderstood me (or maybe i'm not ready your reply correctly).

The sound is fine but I cannot get the tablet to vibrate when typing on keyboard or press the home button, for example.

I read somewhere that vibration or haptic feedback is not supported in N7.

Edit: opps didnt realize somebody already posted a reply. oh well, its not the end of the world.

hmmm...not sure. But currently currency US-> MY has drop till USD 3.15.
Some say, wait for malaysia launch. You can pre-order with Rm1199 and garage sales by some seller is RM950 - 1050.
Besides, heard few people got issue on 1st few batch, so just hope that new version/batch release by google should be less problem.
