No issue on stock. Some prefer use stock rom to tweak, better battery performance, etc.
So far issue using custom rom cannot mount external hdd but stock rom can.

Since you get your device today, may be you can help to try if you have this similar issue
1. Fully Charge the Nexus 7
2. Power Off Nexus 7
3. Unplug from Power supply.
4. Power On Your Nexus 7

See if can power ON. Mine cannot Power ON. Unless i plug to power for a while, boot it up. After boot up, unplug the power.

Charging everything work fine, dunno why cannot POWER ON using button.

i use this widget, its 1x1 size, big and easy to see.

if you're using apex/nova launcher,
you can put this widget in dock,

its green when high power,
yellow when low power,
red when very low power,

and when charging is blue color,
very obvious and handy.

forget it man. Today i can use vpn on streamyx. But the problem is now Google Wallet, Google Movie, etc has missing. Even use back VPN, but the program is still not display on my nexus.

I has rooted my nexus as well, so even flash everything also cannot get rid of RBC error on google.

After root, my laptop can see the internal storage so i can transfer movie, doc, etc to ...

I press Power ON- more than a minute also wont boot up. So i try press Power ON + Vol UP. Straight away the machine boot up....weird!!

Where u buy? I plan to get another one.

i got from this guy too. very worth the money.

very simple, download rom manager app from play store.

inside app choose install cwm recovery touch.

is nexus 7 worth getting? what's the market price now?

I use an app called "Link2SD". Those app is shown as "Freeze". So i unfreeze it. But when i play movie or visit those app, i got an error "It is not available in your country even i am using VPN". But magazine & book can view.

I just love for 3 days already fall in love. A lot of my friend complain the size (7") and wifi only, but if love small size (hold in a hand but bigger than hp), then you will fine with it.

I use to view document, slide, view video recording and music. So internet connection is not major option as everywhere got wifi. If dont have, use hp to tether. If you got laptop, just configure ICS.

How about storage? 16GB is small or no micro sd. well, i use USB to go to connect 1TB external HDD.

If you love cloud, u can get skydrive (mine 25GB), dropbox (5GB) and google drive (5GB).

So, as the conclusion "I Love My Nexus 7"....

Will it work on 4G? I'm using Yes Mobile. I will try later

I'm buy from Google Play. Fly all the way from USA. Mine is 16GB. Exclude android os, i still got 12-13 GB available.
