thanks goodness my unit is working fine so far.

i only seen screen flicker once.
it just dim for a split second and back to normal.
never encounter it again.

i never see screen lifted before.
not sure how it looks like. pictures in xda not obvious also.

edit: ok i just found a pic of screen lifted. its usually on the left side.

i take a look at mine, mine also got lifted, but i need to be 1cm away only i can notice, and mine is very VERY small lift, unlike the one in the pic above. i dont think this is a huge issue, been using mine almost 1 month and now only notice it. haha.

Here, i upload some pics of my screen lift.
the pics are big. i never resize them, else it will be too small to see. 8mp snapped by sgs2. (not bad macro mode)


the right side, seems perfect, no lift




the left side, the screen lifted at the left side top part. in real life need to aim the screen at that perfect side angle only can see. took so long to snap this picture. hard to focus and get the right angle.



apply slight pinch pressure, and the screen went back in. hope it stays in.

Mine jus little bit flicker 2 or 3 seconds once, but everything seems perfect...oni tat flickering annoying me!

Anyone who planned to buy n7 should wait until the new batch release.

C80 shld be fine, bt i found someone at xda there complain his n7 having flickering n screen lifting issue...

Thank for the post. I took apart mine with ease. Tighten up all screws and put back the cover. As easy as 1 2 3. No more screen lift issue.
Some screws did felt very loose. I can turn more than half rotation.

look like there are rear camera space there...but no camera is installed

What touch screen issue? Mind to elaborate so that I can test as well?

My casing n sp reach today..brand less but quality not bad..photo up after get home :-)

Keypad/apps/screen need to touch a few times to respond.

I tighten the screws as you did and it really solve the screen lift problem. By the way, may I know is that normal that I can't see my google play books and google play movies on my apps lists? I searched it on the playstore and it indicated that I installed both already (they come together with the device) but I just can't see them in my apps list. Is there any of you face this issue as well?

Yes i tried & the response was good. Will try again when it cock up...
What launcher would you guys recommend?

Anyone able to use their 25usd credit in play store? Mine is greyed out.

nova and apex launcher also got a big lag after rotation.

nova JB beta is very smooth, can feel butter effect, but got a bug,
when return to home screen fromapp tray home screen is empty, need press back or home again only stuff returns.

all launcher is very laggy for 2 seconds after rotation.
example from portrait you rotate to landscape, try to swipe/enter app tray/anything,
very choppy and lag.

maybe its an android buy, no wonder google disable rotation in stock.

Liquid smooth Beta 2, tried akop n cm10 also but no screen flickering only stock give me screen flickering

got mine a 16gb version ytd.....any nice rom recommended??

Tested n no issue..tested multi touch as well..able to detect 10point at same time
Gonna get someone help me with the 11th point when I get home

How do you test the all 10 points? I only tried dead trigger and so far it has no problems running the game.

Use stock ROM for a week first.
Have a base line how stock rom perform.

Then only you can judge how custom ROM compare to it.

Stock ROM performance is amazing though. Project butter,super smooth

Custom ROM mainly for added features and customization.
