There likely aren't going to be any major improvement on the graphic, as they have already revamped it several times.
There isn't even any TXAA setting . Wasting the potential of the these 600 series gc.

Remember majority of the audience doesn't got a super graphic card , they will have to adjust the game to be affordable and appealing to the majority. Some of the spell effect is still way over the top and the visual effect is blocking a lot of things , but I know they are planning to add an option to toggle it off .


I do like the aesthetic of the game , I just wish they spend more time polishing on the details . Some of the minor town feels too empty , they just placed a few wooden barrel on the spot and call it a town , it is hardly convincing .

Shoji, did you experience a sort of lag during gameplay?? Or because I did update my graphic driver to the latest which cause this.....

Not every MMO are gunning for graphics especially the ones whom keeps the old brother PS3 intact. MMO is about game play and more so the story/world which evolves to excites gamers. If you're really a graphic guy, then it's better you forget about it

Too bad the quality of the graphics are now being limited by the fact that ps3 wont be able to handle it if they push any further and that's not so good for people with pc but great for people with ps3 since they can still play it without a pc.

well I own wired xbox controller for pc.

I prefer logitech the thumbstick location of xbox abit awkward

the major drawback in F710 is the rumble/vibrate is so weak.

but that not concern me because usually when i use with FFXIV game i disable the vibration.

In certain places where many people are concentrating, yea it drops FPS a lot and lag! Already submitted feedback/bug

Even though PS controllers are light, I really having difficulties pressing the D-Pad, which the Xbox does it flawlessly and the handling of it is more natural. But my Xbox's analog stick is giving me problems after 4 yrs of usage, it's time for a new one???

Closed Beta will never be a polished product. The NDA is there so that CB Testers do not blurb out the unpolished sides of their product lest give outsiders the wrong perceptions.

I fully blame the misconception of CB because of abuse by certain developers. These certain developers purposely allow unfiltered testers to pay their way in via pre-order's perk or small payment. This in turn skewed the perception that CB testers are testing "final polished" product, which is in reality is not.

If the developers can find unpaid testers who can play by just looking at programming codes without the graphic representation of the codes, I'm sure they'll be very happy to do that.

That said, I have the old Logitech Rumblepad 2, and my inbox is nary an e-mail from SE

Had to say, this time, I think they got it right for the first time.

It's not as annoying as the gameplay in the past, learning curves are too steep, this time, the game feels more like GW2, which is actually a very good improvement.

Graphics is not everything in MMO, it's the content and the gameplay that's important.

I had few crashes here and there though on Windows 8 yesterday, today was fine though.

Thx for the reply ^^, i'v been tried with my friend's xbox long time ago, the pad seems a little too big for my palm, easily get tired with it's weight too. Planning to get 1 of the logitech's rumble pad soon, probably F310 since i don't need vibration much.

Same here lol, looks like tentacle on the pad.

Had fun last night & today playing at TTD.... got the FFXI feeling although me as Meat
