Hi all, I'm planning to upgrade my windows into windows 7...and obviously I'm looking into more ram as well (desktop pc anyways). But when I open my pc, I found (totally forget about it) out that I only have a mother board with 2 slots for DDR2 ram; each at 1GB.
I know it might be pointless, but is there anyway to have more than 4GB ram with 2 slots? Other than buying a new mother board...At the way I am looking, I can only fit two 2GB DDR2 rams and that's it...
Or is there a single 4GB DDR2 ram available...
plz check wif ur mobo manual and check how much ram does ur mobo can support. some old chipset only support up to 4GB while some 8GB and so on

i plan to upgrade my ddr 2 ram from 4 to 8
but notice that there is a big difference between corsair ram and kingston hyper x ...
1 single piece of 4 GB of hyper x (1600 CL9) is around RM 110
but
1 corsair dominator (1600 CL9) is around RM 260 !!!
is there a big difference between these 2?!?!?!?
many factors to consider, older stock? havent update price? or better cooler? or can handle higher voltage for overclocking etc
