maybe i should make a trip to samsung and claim warranty for the battery . my friend had the same problem but worse than mine , from 100% drop to 30% within few hours of not using the phone .

if you have root explorer, and root of course, go to system > app, delete phone.apk and phone.odex, then just put the phone.apk you downloaded into there

Guys, sometimes my s3 is showing blinking blue light at top left of the phone, althoigh i notice there is no missed call or unread messages.

It is an event notification. No just missed call or unread messages.

If you flash stock official firmware or leak firmware then you can use MobileOdin since the files comes in  .tar.md5
Usually you flash custom roms using CWM since most custom roms comes in flashable zip files.

It doesn't look good. This Galaxy S III apparently malfunctioned while in an in-car holster, causing some substantial melting and burn marks across the lower half of the device. The global HSPA+ iteration of Samsung's new flagship apparently sparked into white flames, followed by a bang. While it's certainly not the first smartphone to implode in transit, the damage -- along the base but separate to the charging port -- looks pretty substantial and although the screen still apparently worked, reception was dead. The phone has been whisked off to a repair center through phone retailer Carphone Warehouse for the full autopsy. i mean i want to flash back to the rom before the custom rom... so can i nandroid recover to go back to prior rom or i have to flash back the stock rom then only recover from nandroid?

Guys, just to check.. was browsing thru air asia's app n when I went to select my departure airport, there's this different color lines on the middle part of the screen.. Can someone check if this is caused by the app or am I having a defected screen?? Kindly see the pic below for the greenish lines on the middle part... thanks..
