Finally done applying with the XtremeGuard full body protection~
Thanks to llk for letting go 1 of his 3 sets of XtremeGuard~ My comments: The front really covers almost the whole screen, including the curvy sides. Still having some bubbles, getting lesser by hours... There's slight "rubbery" feel on the screen now, but won't be sticky nor slick, still retain little "slippery" feel from the screen. The back, damn, maybe it was my own inexperienced technique on wet application of protective films.. But little comments on the back film, seems like it was not being prepared or cut precisely. Now's there's little places (all the corners of the back battery cover) are not fully adhered, leaving little space. No idea on how to fix that. Nevermind, I'll cover that up with my Rock Quicksand case then~ |

QUOTE(firstknight @ Jun 22 2012, 01:44 PM) Really? Damn, i haven't really clip on my Rock case, now it's with my TPU rubber case, i use that to "strengthen" the adhesion..Oh my god does this mean that i can't put on the Rock case with the film on it? |

After more than 12 hours since I've done with the wet application of XtremeGuard protective films,
almost all of the bubbles have gone, the great thing is that all the previously un-adhered of all 4 corners on the battery cover has been fixed~ The whole film has fully attached onto the surface of battery cover~ Really fell in love with this full body protective films~ You can try use your finger nail to scratch the screen, then wipe it off rightaway with microfiber cloth~ Looks decent, no orange peel effects~ Removed my TPU rubber case and now clipped on with Rock Quicksand case, the film is unaffected, no peel-offs at all~ I'm thinking of buying another brand new set, because I was't quite satisfied with my current "results" and "skills" in applying the film... There's little dirt or dust, or bubble trapped inside, can't confirm, time will tell... The back isn't aligned centred enough too... Anyone with extra set of XtremeGuard films that he wanna let go once again like user llk? I would like to take it~ (Still a student, no credit card... Hard to purchase stuffs especially when it's in another currency from another country... |
