Im not in kl,im far from nottingham(at semenyih)..the university nottingham is located in some jungle hulu place,(check in google map),yet im getting speed of 9.63mbps during peak hour..my download speed around 700kbps,good enough for me and cheaper than yesbb( only rm68 + 7.50 for vpn)..and im not lying about the uni is located in a hulu place..

Only problem for me is finding a bank to banking the rm15 every 2 months, they seem to not have any banks here..looks like I have to ask my mom to banking in penang.

izzit very common for other countries to exchange their laptop for a new one whenever they face problem? ROG forumers keep telling me to go for exchange because of the overheat issue, but u know la.. G55 in Malaysia is howl limited, n i dunno how long it takes Asus to do so

u can always mod your U3 colloer.. move all 3 fans and make them stand vertically at the end of the aluminium steel pad

this cooler goes out to all g'series armies out there...not sure if it suits the g55 but this might be the temporary solution until the warranty goes out so that we can change the thermal paste and also remove the film that blocking the gpu

Of course everyone here knows that I waited way too long for this laptop. But don't think i could wait any longer seeing that i've already started my uni, and currently in my 3rd week already. I was struggling to survive without a laptop since I'm staying outside.. but I couldnt. I kept borrowing my friend's laptop but I have one assignment that requires me to do 3D modelling and i dont think i can hog my friend's laptop for days. He also need to do his own assignments. My bro who seems to pity my situation offered me his dell xps  although its not the laptop I wanted but i guess it'll do for now. He's getting himself a desktop.

Finally I get my ASUS G55VW-S1131V today!   Its look awesome, especially the vent ... but still no time to try out   just run a furmark test, i get 79 max in room temp oh 31-32...so seem normal and my ram is corsair and it run 800mhz in dual mode. i install 2 slot...seem like work... am i right?

thx...but how do we keep the rubberized palm rest  and top cover...it seem like pretty easy to get scratch over....a bit scary to use also...any protective film that we can buy?

haha u like me one ah...i keep a freaking hand towel with me near my mouse and whenever i feel sweaty i wipe and also wash with nice smell hand wash so that my pc and lappie also smell good....

my comp is using g9x which i bought from switzerland and my lappie uses logitech g400...thinking of getting another mechanical keyboard for the lappie so that i dun use the lappie one a lot...
