Anyone sent their G laptops to lowyat before? Mine has some artifacts so it is probably a video card problem. How is your experience with the service center?

windows 7 ultimate is completely out of the picture..
'cause im not going to pay $219.99 for a bunch of new features im never going to use..
ultimate is great for corporate/business purposes though

Scary about the scoldings but I did hear bad things about their service center in Malaysia. Not much in other countries though. How I wish I know someone that's going overseas right now

herm...i seem like mine one got skin prob-.- mayb installed too much of them -.-

why my asus g55 got App Virt partition when i open my computer.
got 3 partition
1-c
2-d
3-App Virt

ya i did put all the skin in there~that's the way to import new skin 
i just try to unload one by one and see whether can figure out which skin lead me to that error....and now seem okay...(hardrive's skin or rss feed's skin seem got prob )

2 days ago, i go ICT mallpenang, to upgrade my ram...

after asking for d price of corsair 2x4gb 1600, and agreed to upgrade, but ask him to test 1st to show that compatible or not, if not, i dun take it.....he ok with that...

so he open the back cover when open the cover he really kasar, then cracking sound, 1 of the "leg" patah....

he say he will replace 1 new 1 for me~~~

after upgrade the ram, run cpu-z , but the speed is 1333, so, thats mean not compatible....

as our agreement before upgrade the ram, so, take out the 2 pcs corsair ram.....

so, after that we bincang about the replace thenew back cover for me, he say he try to find for me.....then after that, he say if cannot find , then he pay money for me can bo?? i direct say cannot, i dun wan the money, i want new cover....
so, today he call me and asking for my G55 serial number, idun give the number to him yet, then i call penang  asus center clarify about the procedure, then asus penang say is ok to give him the serial number~~

so, now i still no send the serial num to him yet~~
try to ask, who upgrade the corsair 2x4gb 1600 ram, will it run on 1600 speed ???

i thin need take 1 week to replace for me kut~~

i have one question to ask u guys.. when ur computer is on idle(not doing anything), the third icon from the left(processing icon) which is the status indicator blinks every second? i am worried that it is my hard disc problem as when it blinks there are tiny "cracking" sound can be heard at bottom right or the computer each blink.

Really sad bro..just got the breastfor less then 1 week den problem already...maybe i use the computer in the car during travelling then become like this... Bro you tried on idle State the processing icon indicator or the status indicator third from the left wont blink constantly around 0.5/1 sec？really need some advice before i sent to service centre

Its like when a program running you can hear some sizzling or scratching right when running？ When my computer is idle the light blinks and that scratch sound can be heard every second..its like scratch for 0.5 second den after 1 second you can hear another scratch sound which you would think that got program is running..but if a program is running the light Will not blink but continuously showing the light until the program open right？ Sorry i am not good in expressing...
