Hi and Good morning I guess 

I'm actually looking for phones for my mom.

Her age is 48 this year.

Brand : Anything would do.
Budget : Actually I set for RM 1000 but for sure can topup if other phones suggested by members are decent enough.
           
Specs : Best camera use for video call and skype. No lag whatsoever. Internet browsing. Good whatsapp.
            Good for a two year use phone. I'm in doubt of small phone storage like 1GB and we can use micro SD for 
            extra storage. I prefer to have only internal storage I guess.
Type : Touchscreen I guess.

I actually studied overseas and might not be getting back to Malaysia for two more years. So I plan to get the best phone for my mom to get in touch. i have browse through the internet over past few days still don't have any decision.


So, I came here for all these master to suggest now.

I'm also considering the new line phones released on IFA few days ago.
But for sure any suggestion here would help me though.

- simple web browsing via wifi only (because I'm using prepaid only)
- skype/watsapp
- bluetooth file transfer
- tethering with iPad 2 when outside

I have read many reviews on this phone and it was unique on its own, but those reviews have been around for a while so I'm not quite sure how well it stands against more current line ups. And what's the fair price for a new one now?

got galaxy s advance but not recomended cause no ics/jb update
if u are ok with gingerbread then go get it

What d ics/jb update mean?
And
Is it now a day phone support only limited GB of external memory card? (32GB) any larger GB is supported?
For example ‧Samsung Galaxy SII only can support .microSDHC 32GB
