I wouldn't recomend darkening or putting mettalic laminate on your windows. Reason being is that you can't see what's happening inside your house when you are outside and this is a security risk.

Visibilty is very important when securing your house.

Yes , got my keys, generally quite happy with the quality. The toilets are a step up from the rest.

Initially for investment but may be a keeper now instead. 

Thinking about breaking down the internal wall for the 1st floor room so that the 1st floor can be an open plan floor, and for better airflow front to back.

It's also a better place for the dining area to be across from the kitchen.

Only concerned that it's a structural wall, and complicated by the fact that there is a fuse box panel on it as well.

Heard some owners are thinking of turning the garage into a living room which does make a lot of sense when you think about it.

Breakdown of charges includes:

Maintenance Charges RM435.90

Any idea what the Maintenance Charges are for???  Its not gated nor guarded so the maintenance charges are a bit baffling.  Haven't gone to see the customer service yet to query.  Anybody received the same charges?

could it be the charges to maintain the area plus the temporary guards?  To be honest, i thought the Fern Lane public area is pretty well kept!

I collected the keys to my Willow unit.  Generally satisfied with the build quality, and the fact that it comes well equipped with 2 water pumps, heater, alarm and others including even a jacuzzi bathtub. Also noticeably there are no hairline cracks on the walls which I hv observed appearing in other phases and the paintwork was also done well without discoloration or patches.

However my biggest gripe is the metal folding garage door. It's operation is downright dangerous and appears to be a heavy duty industrial type of design with no sensors to detect obstacles. And it's one push for open and close, so it'll potentially crush anything in its way! cars, kids, maids, and pets and old folks included. furthermore the garage space is woefully short and you won't be able to park 2 cars of reasonable size in it. Two myvis yes, but two sedans, no way.

This appears to be a serious design flaw by the architect, and developer and I believe many owners have lodged complaints from both a practicality and safety angle.  If you haven't, you should in order to get the developer to do something about it.
Sime Darby as a responsible developer must look into this and find a resolution urgently, either to get the contractor to modify the design and incorporate safety features, or replace the folding door with a single pane roller type, before a serious accident occurs and injures a home owner.

The First 24hrs mamak/nasi kandar shop was just opened a day ago I think?!  Getting more "convenient" now...bravo to the shop owner!

I feel truly relax whenever I pay a visit to denai..  The environment is green, quiet and best of all I don't see any high rise buildings at all in the whole area!

Noticed that not many units @ MG is occupied, personally planning to move in maybe 3rd quarter of next year, hopefully by then there will be more neighbours..

look a bit crampy (if theres such a word)...

Hi, Im a MT owner too. Planning to move in? The rate of moving in is too slow. There must be a campaign by the developer to push for greater occupancy. It will be better for growth in the areas; commercial etc...

if not mistaken only one house currently occupied at MT..
