Discontinued apparently since it's less than 2% of Apple's notebook sales.

His words not mine, but from a person met at MacStudio yesterday who is used to working on the 17", and switched to my MBP RD, he says the experience is the same because of the resolution at negligible screen size difference. His words, not mine.

No surprises why Apple discontinued the 17" behemoth.

not full spec I didn't go for the highest SSD..

Its slightly easier to be detach with Magsafe2 design due to its design to plug straight instead of the L shape.
Actually, I prefer this way. Safer..

apple will deduct your money from credit card once your order comfirm or when they ships ?
