QUOTE(SurpriseZZZZZ @ Jul 11 2012, 05:43 PM) Yes, you can access. But that 50GB is still blocked for your windows which results in 50GB lesser for your OSX partition. I know the files from the Windows partition can be accessed, what I meant is whether the partition can be used to run as a OS inside Parallels directly?

Yes, it will run as OS in parallels. Basically parellels run off the bootcamp partition rather than create a separate image file

I can run Parellel smoothly on my MBP 2010 with 4GB 1033 Mhz RAM & SATA 2 SSD. I don't see any reason you can't run it smoothly with 8GB 1600 Mhz RAM & SATA 3 SSD. My personal experience. Hey guys, i just ordered the lower end retina MBP, and i was wondering if the charger is compatible to be used in the US, as i'll be leaving for studies there later. From what i read the voltage is compatible, if i were to buy a US pin ac would it be fine for my rMBP?
