Yeap, go into your time machine and delete your old backup in there. There's an option to delete.

I do, high end model with RAM upgrade to 16GB. Ordered at Mac Studio Lowyat on June 18th and they said I have to wait for 4 weeks.

This is an upgrade from my 5 years old MBP.
*
Will there be issues if I upgrade my 13in 2012 MBP to 16Gb - since apple recommends only 8Gb
If so which RAM to use and where did you buy from?

Well, not for me. I go into the time machine everytime to delete. Not sure if deleting the folders in backups.backupdb brings any consequences or not. Hehe

Question, I made a backup of my old Lion 15" MBP into a time capsule. Assuming I get a new MBP with Mountain Lion preinstalled, if i restore from the backup will it revert back to Lion?

OT : One unit of Retina MBP (RM6799) in stock at Cube Subang Parade. First come first served basis.

Ask for Jon.

they havent really diagnose my MBP yet.. just an online diagnostic from Aussie server to provide a brief view on what's going on with my mbp. i guess that's why there's no charges UNLESS they themselves get dirty in checking my mac.
