i wanna ask, how u backup apps ar? i mean when u reflash ur unit, then u go to Playstore, it will have an archive of what u installed previously..something like that..

THere are many ways.

I can reinstall back my apps thru copying apps in /data/

or because I am using sd-ext, I can browse into the folder and take only the apk to run it later

or because I backup using CWM, I can access my apps in /sd-ext by extracting the .tar file in /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/xxx/*.tar

or I backup a copy of app into sdcard once I downloaded them. For larger apps with /sdcard/Android/ files, I can zip and backup them.

I do not have many apps. My apps drawer only 4-5 only including system file (bloatware removed).

This saves my Internet bandwidth, download time and a 32GB microSD helps a lot.

by using EXT2 i wont have low internal memory (/data) problem right, since i can swap memory between /data to /ext-sd? sounds like Samsung & LG's 3 layer memory...

not sure if there's a better deal then you mentioned. Do you really need the physical keyboard? If you dont you can op for dual core hp for <RM1000. Do go test run a working SEX Pro first before purchasing one. icon_rolleyes.gif

For battery fix, flash LuPuS JB kernel and try undervolt at 900mhz + I/O scheduler (smartassv2) and look it working or not..
to remove lags, idk.. on xda got many script to eliminate lags..
JB MIUI- right now i have plenty free time, so I'll port MIUI based on cm10. PORT MIUI rom from xperia arc.. wink.gif

i'm back on stock ICS, because JB
-dont have Xperia Gallery
-a number of apps like FB, stock Gallery dont support Xperia Pro's physical keyboard arrow keys for navigation.

ASTRO just backup apk file only.
or
just use Titanium Backup to backup data/apk+data

I think it depends on game. Sometimes it will lost after reflash because game progress was saved in phone memory.

One game that doesn't have that problem, such as Real Racing 2, which is my fav



My ext2 partition is 4GB, but only <200MB used hahaha

Hi guys, i might need your help. i have this friend here who has herself a neo and out of a sudden it went to a bootloop. im not sure if it was out of battery or anything. one thing for sure is that it was still on stock rom. never rooted or flashed to other roms and stuff. i'd like to get rid of the bootloop, and be the hero cause she's all sad and stuff lulz. do i follow the steps exactly like ts mentioned on the first post
