QUOTE(wpl84 @ Jun 19 2012, 10:35 PM) I just got Anymode Hard Case White from marcus. Nice case. Much better than my previous casing. Though a bit exposed on the side but it feels good! [attachmentid=2902941][attachmentid=2902942] Does it add any bulk to the phone? Is the case very tight and not easy to take off? |

QUOTE(chewlf @ Jun 19 2012, 10:42 PM) It's much easier to remove as it only holds tight at the top and bottom.Nope, it won't add any bulk to the phone, it still maintains the beautifulness of the phone. It's not so visible to oil stains. The good thing about this case is that when you swipe from left to right or right to left, the case do not have a slight height on the edge. I think with this case, it is easier to put into golla pouch compare to my ROCK case.Nope, it won't add any bulk to the phone, it still maintains the beautifulness of the phone. QUOTE(Reventon @ Jun 19 2012, 10:35 PM) CODE Ive took the time out to explain briefly what exactly is a kernel. Many people use and experiment with kernels, without even knowing or understanding what a kernel is, if you have a smartphone you are definitely using a kernel of some sort. In smartphones the kernel is the BOSS of the smartphones operating system. It is a bridge between your applications and the actual data processing done at the phones hardware level. What is the phones hardware? - CPU, Memory, and the phone itself. The kernels job is to manage the system resources between the hardware and software and to allow other programs to run and use these resources, other programs could be like for example, google search, google maps, email client, you know the built in programs you get with your smartphone. The kernel takes responsibility for deciding at any point which of the running apps should be allocated to the processor or processors each of which can usually run only one program or app at a time. The phones memory is used to store both program instructions and data and both have to be present in the memory in order for the app or program to execute. Often multiple programs or apps will want to access memory, often demanding more memory than the phone has available. The kernel is responsible for deciding which memory each process can use and working out what to do when not enough is available. The kernel also controls the input and output signals of your phone, such as keyboard, touchscreen, display, memory cards, etc. The kernel allocates request from apps to perform input/output actions on your phone, example being using the touchscreen, opening an app and interacting both ways with it, and reading and writing to the sd cards etc... Taken from What is kernel |

QUOTE(cooldreamer @ Jun 19 2012, 10:46 PM) Minimal protection rather than no protection lor. If really want full protection, have to get the flip cover or the tough case. However, using these kind of smart phones, no matter how good the protection, still have to be careful. |

QUOTE(arj @ Jun 19 2012, 09:23 PM) Some update on my SP, I have carefully removed it from my phone, washed it with soap and reinstalled it back using water and some soap. The soap makes it easy to glide on the phone and for you to make proper adjustments. Super easy to install and it's near perfect on the phone! There's still slight orange peel effect though but I'm more happy with the result now. thanx for the tip. me also think of the soap trick. need to re-apply as i apllied it senget to the right a bit.btw any tips to safely remove it? i afraid i might stretch it. |

QUOTE(arj @ Jun 19 2012, 10:03 PM) Dun bother waiting, remove it now and reinstall it with some soap. I can assure you that you will be more pleased with the result. Tried what you suggest, attempted thrice and getting frustrated with the result. Crumbled the SP but it gets back to original form minutes later(guess it's good quality), but I just throw it into the dustbin. Now looking back at my naked shiny screen, PERFECT!QUOTE(wpl84 @ Jun 19 2012, 10:35 PM) I just got Anymode Hard Case White from marcus. I'm using the metalic blue. It's really nice as it doesn't cover the chroming part and feels good to hold. Much better than my previous casing. Though a bit exposed on the side but it feels good! The surface looks like the Toyota Car Pearl White. [attachmentid=2902941][attachmentid=2902942] |
