i have a question... are all n56vz s3088v's 4gb ram 1600mhz? because ive seen some topics in garage sells stating their specs as 4gb ram 1333mhz.. so just wondering?

it is 1600mhz, check on the box. if it is 1333mhz means the seller have change it

ultra setting - 30-35 fps
high setting - 45-50 fps
medium setting - 60-70 fps

I wanted to upgrade my ram, and wht I know frm the first is the max ram for this laptop is 8GB,
but I read some ppl said the max ram is 16GB, so I wonder which one is the true one?

yup, I too did read about the ram upgrade until 16gb but if you do put it in, i wonder it would recognize the extra 8gb ram >.< ... asus official website too said the max is 8gb, better play it safe guys. (or is there someone here who would want to give it a TRY) lol

And guys, anyone has subwoofer problem? mine i think is malfunctioned. giving me buzzing sound, and the realtek ballon msg keep showing "you plugged in...." then "you had unplugged...".

Is ASUS reliable? My friend says that he bought the asus n55, and windows crashed 2 times in 2 weeks, and his hard drive crashed in 4 weeks. Has anyone else encountered similar problems with any asus laptop?

I have the same issue too, but guess I found a solution for it.

Run your antivirus (full scan) or clear all the history, cache n cookies on your browsers, should stop the msg.

unfortunately.. n56 can only apply 8gb ram MAX!

looking to sell away the 4gb now...
