for gaming, 8GB is good enough... unless u aiming for 16GB... if i'm not mistaken, y580 comes with 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 which is quite good

It should be glossy iinm. Most new ones come with glossy screen.

For Y580 seems like it's glare (glossy) screen. If want anti-glare (matte) screen, then have to go for dell 15R SE with FHD option.

I don't like the glossy screen too much, but I love the rest of the Y580's spec and price.. now pening

There is an FHD variant coming for the Y580 according to our forummer here. Maybe its matte brows.gif
