Conclusion me hard decide to buy which one~ Super Max Budget RM3500(At 1st my budget start 2.5k) ,previously asked the buying laptop thread here end up choosing 15r se FHD ,but now this beast is coming make me itchy FXXK!!!!

If got higher budget, I recommend G55VW.

Y580 save couple bucks for me. For those like to play halo, BF3, etc high graphic rendering game, G55VW is the best or G75.

I just play Dota & diablo now. Movie I go IMAX.

I have no idea why ppl struggling on FHD and HD screen. Really can enjoy a movie in 15.6" screen.

Try 22, maybe 24"......will feel 15.6" so small. Like back to the CRT monitor. I used 17" one last time~

but then theres a fhd version of y580 going at 2999 according to the seller at garage sales...eventhough its not confirmed that its really fhd.. 

i think theres cheaper price than that..check out garage sales,think you can get them for below 3k..
whats the difference between ap set and non ap set? the warranty cannot extend? got 1 seller gave me the option to extend the warranty from 2 years to 3 years when i enquire bout y480..

if the system come with 2 yrs warranty, its unable to extend to 3rd year.

is the FHD & 7200 rpm for HDD set out yet  ??

Full HD going to be released at the end of july or early august for rm3699. My friend works at Lenovo.

Both have similar spec but you need to spend around RM300 moar for G55.. and the Y580 is expensive?

I feel that is quite expensive d..ANd I think HDD is not 7200rpm right?

What features? I thought Y580 have better cooling performance compare to G55 except on the HDD.
