FOR those who solved the OWV problem, may i know which SC you guys go to and how many days you need to leave the car there?

and are you satisfied with the results?

I am from Kepong and planing to settle my OWV problem at any SC either in KL or Selangor area. Looking for an experienced SC.

I try not to leave my car there if it is just because of waiting for spare parts only or with the runaway Service Advisor..

if is my dad, sure fucuk them until their father and mother that they gonna fix the sound by hook or by crook. Wtf is cannot find root cause. They say safe, then ask them go lawyer firm with u, sign agreement say the car is safe to drive, if anything happen, proton is liable and sue until their ass drop. If they cannot, means the car is TOTALLY NOT SAFE to drive. This is what my dad said to the SC when they say the brake helicopter sound, which i think might be the gluk gluk sound they cannot fix but they said is safe to drive.

Mind sharing how you know you have OWV problem?
How frequent?

I will suggest you to go COSE to check the OWV problem as the CAT team is over there specially handling preve car.
Other SC has no such expertise to handle OWV and the FC problems.
I do not know how many days it going to take to fix the OWV issue but I being told by the CAT team that it going to take few days
For your information, COSE now also run out of spare parts for preve...I also waiting for the spare parts arrive in order to solve the OWV problems.

Added on June 16, 2012, 12:09 amEngine got the "cek cek cek.." sound during cold start i guess; it happened to me few times.
I told the CAT team about this engine noise this morning, they said suspect it is OWV problem & need further inspection.

@wewanwang do you wait full day at CoSE today?

OWV they have to open your cylinder head. the valve located in between cylinder block and cylinder head i think.

I had the appointment with COSE at 9.30am, then 10 something the service advisor brought me to CAT team and asked me to have test drive my car together with them; and explained to them whats the problems that my car facing.

After that, I went out for meeting during lunch time and back to COSE at 4pm to check whether my car is done. Then, the CAT team again asked me to drive one more round, tested the gluk gluk sound & ABS (drifting).

Lastly, the CAT team said they will order the spare parts and gave me his contact no to make appointment in case the spare parts arrived.

I guess few things they had been done:
- tune the alignment
- done something on the battery or tuned the engine as i found that the HU need to enter the PIN again, trip meter reset, side mirrors not sync
- FC now getting average 9.5l/100km, before this never get lower than 10.

when I lock my car now, the side mirrors do not close in sync. The left close faster than the right. How you fix that bro?

i do at ipoh sc,,,car sended there by my bro...3 days to fix it...

u from Kepong and me and kiapreve is so near...should TT togather and checking each other car about problem ma...

I mean like the red lights from the front of Knight Rider. The lights blink in a timely manner to create a moving illusion.

Honestly, I really not sure, but since I did not mentioned battery and engine tuning but they still did it for me, I believe yours should also RECALL COMPLETED.

I don't know if all HU using the same pin, but you can find your pin on the back of Audio System Handbook. Printed large and bold at the back.

To be exact, this keychain was me requested the time I collect my car. But that time was too late, the office clerk gone home (she got the key to open the display shelf). SA ask me to see him the next day, and really, he already got the keychain in his car but too busy can't send to me.

It is 401 files in 28 folders, total size is 96.4MB.
In fact I explored the SD card the 2nd car I got the car, but find no way to do anything to it.
Wish our expert could come out with something.

Mine don't have this left right out of sync problem, have no idea how to fix it.
Maybe ask FenomX to twist it like he did to his car?
Sorry, just kidding, but for me, I would ask the mechanic to help fix it in next service.

The best i heard so far is RM1,000 disc if take loan, if buy by cash is RM600 disc. No free gift anymore

So, actually none of us have the OWV solved in klang valley except for maverickng done in Ipoh, and Proton still do not have the spare part..

Correct me but i am wrong..
