if have this SYNC problem ask the SA, he said that normal, are sure? sound like the side mirror already fully expand but the motor still running, i think it just put unnecessary force to motor, in the longer run it will causing the problem to the motor/servo.

and he said : you know right how long the warranty. hmm.gif

I believe the reason is this:

They overlook the driver's door because they forgot the driver's window uses a larger motor which can power up & down automatically and it has a sensor safety feature.

So if anyone dislikes the erection, they will use the same basic function power window of your passengers.

My wife is not complaining because she loves that area hard and swollen whenever she visits Jusco Car Park ticketing machine at entrance.

U sure that U mean she love it when u both visits Jusco Car Park ticketing machine at entrance YOU have that kind of reaction...?

Keep the bedroom talk inside the bedroom

The door trim bulging issue is not unique to Preve, some other cars also have it. They can maybe try to minimize it, but not eliminate it. But it is not something to be worried about.

It's not in bedroom, its at the Autopay Station in Jusco... sweat.gif

Who is he to decide for you?

Original 1st layer under warranty.
If stick 2nd layer, the first layer warranty void but the 2nd layer has a new warranty period.

If you think about it, if the car doesn't come with any tinting and you go to ecotint to get a double layer tint, will ecotint refuse to give you warranty?

Blady excuses.

Fucuk, jangan tak fucuk.

guys.. i hv done OWV repair at COSE last two weeks... but i need to leave my car for a week becoz diorang takde stock head gasket ( after they dismantle my top engine baru notice they dont have head gasket stock) end up .. kena tido kat sc for a week.. normally 2-3 days

before repair.. even after 2 hours engine stop bila on ada bunyi... but now.. no more... every morning on.. this sound gone.. happy with the result

but pls take note.. according to thier engineer.. oil retain at VVT spec is 24 hrs... means kalau u leave ur car more than 2 days... bunyi ni mungkin akan ada... it happened to me last weeknd...

and FYI.. OWV case is not handled by CAT... it is handled by SC..
CAT team will take care new complaint on preve only... like my case... CAT resolved my wind noise problem and terminal battery issues...

OWV bunyi macam mana? crekkk creekk or tak tak?
bunyi tu datang dari VVT punya hydraulic lifter atau camshaft friction with the rocker arm?

crek crek.. just for a second.. pas tu hilang

bunyi tu datang dari vvt .. diorang cakap valve tu dah deform so minyak tak leh retain kat situ...
so bila cold start.. sebab takde minyak.. bunyi vibrate tu keluar dan sekejap je sebab lepas tu minyak dah masuk

I thing I notice with Malaysian mechanic. They always like to fill BEYOND the maximum mark on the dipstick. So while the manual says 4 liter, they may want to put in more than 4 liter?

Good Morning Previans , Just a question here, tried checking the front page but doesn't seem to have the answer. What's the recommended tyre pressure for our Preve? I know the sticker there stats 31 or 30 PSi if I'm not wrong but some said it looks quite flat / under inflated...so what pressure does u guys put? Hope to seek a helpful reply alright. Thanks tongue.gif

@Dhuang (TS): Not sure if you have updated my name that I've received my ride...Anyway here's some details of it again smile.gif

The C-pillar wind noise will be fixed by SC. I think this is an easy job since they fix it very quickly.
The battery terminal, I think will be fixed even if you don't ask. I've never have any problem with engine shutdown and I've never complained about the battery terminal, but on my service sheet, I can see they replace the battery terminal.
I don't think there is such thing as ECU remap. When I got the car, the car is much better than the test drive unit (very less sluggish)

and....over time, you can feel that the sluggishness dissapear completely. At first I thought it is me that is getting used to the car but, when I asked my sister and my father to drive the car, both of them don't feel any sluggishness. So, I guess the response will be better over time. Now, I have no problem to `pecut' at the junction or roundabout or at the traffic light and its easy to give others `makan asap'.
*
Thanks. But I guess it's the engine fitment de to new parts. Clearance issue.

Things with turbocharging. Over oil pressure can cause turbo seals to worn off and causes sluggishness to the engine. When the pistons goes down, it needs to counter the pressure cause by the oil vapor formation.

Well, there are a lot of new abreviation I need to get used to...

Mind clarifying these for me?
What's OWV?
HU?

2 common mistakes I find our mechanic doing:
1. Over filling the engine with engine oil to above the "MAX" dipstick mark
2. Over inflating the tires.

I just don't understand.... rclxub.gif

in case you are not informed of this, COSE perform car servicing only on Saturdays and close at 1pm. Non servicing matters, Monday to Friday.

Added on June 16, 2012, 11:28 amBTW, has anyone already or thinking of changing the HU in CFE, adding a reverse camera and what accessories have you bought for your car?

Just curious....

Well, this is the problem when they use the engine oil suction tool. Some of the inexperience mechanics will try to push the flexible Teflon hose as deep as possible to make sure it sucks the oil clean.

But as a result, they pushed too far and the flex hose bends and goes up like a u turn. So, it didn't sucks oil below the tip which may consist 1L. Adding in a full 4L will make it 5L.

Problem is, they didn't check the dipstick after service.

I always overfill my engine oil for track runs. But street... Hmm...

But tyre pressure, I suspect the gauge went haywire.

Regarding the HU , has anybody managed to change the GPS to papago or garmin? or is there anyway to change the GPS software ? Current GPS is not as good as papago, garmin or google navi.
