can try reselect mobile network operators. then the phone will stop current connection and scans for the operators and attempts a connection

I used "Backup to Gmail". As the name implies, it can backup your SMS, MMS and call logs to your Gmail account. Then you can restore them to your new phone. No idea how to backup Whatsapp though....

as long as it is not VERY HOT until hard to hold, then it's fine.

Can't find any option to save FB pictures, I guess the next best thing would be to take a screenshot of it.

The other way, open up browser, download from there into your phone.

*Edit slightly: I mean open up phone browser (whichever you are using) to view to pics then download it into your phone.
