Hie, just wanna clarify, S3 is not carrier locked right?

I'm asking because I bought my S3 from Digi, and inserted my Maxis sim, end up lotsa apps unable to work.

On a whim I inserted, everything is working. X_X

apple still never change. still a very closed system. the pc revolution left them playing 2nd fiddle. the post pc revolution also leaving them playing 2nd fiddle. its good to be 2nd......shit.....i starting to sound like an android fan. must......resist........the..........green robot

i bought my s3 two days ago, i've turn on my mobile data but not using it, and my battery drop quite fast, i have 100% in the morning (8am), and drops till 22% by 9pm. hows ur s3 battery performance?

none. actually the pebble blue has many shades of blue and grey depending on the lighting. it sometimes look gray, sometimes blue, sometimes pebble blue.

been using my pebble blue for a week naked without any casing. Got some thin hair line scratches at the bottom of the phone but i don't really bother much.

bcz my finger print is more annoying than the scratches, but I'm still looking at the beautiful screen 99.99% of the time.

are you rich enough to scratch your rm2+++ hp? ...not me

when my back cover gets too many scratches then only I will slap in a casing. No use of using a ugly and thick casing to cover the beautiful and slim back cover.

what's the use of protecting the back cover but u never get to look at it?? 

i feel that 1gb on the sgs3 is really not enough. other than the much lower free mem compared to sgs2 (which a lot of "experts" say dont worry becoz unused ram is wasted ram, android knows best etc), there are quite a feel other worrying signs.

- frequent launcher redraws (can be partly solved by edit built.prop or use alt launchers and set them persistent, but android will then look for other app to kill, which bring us to below)

- certain background apps get killed real quick when the phone runs out of mem and tries to reclaim. eg, i have both whatsapp and line installed and several times ppl send me message and i didnt receive. turns out one or both the apps got killed. only when i restart them that the message comes in. btw, on sgs2, these 2 apps were almost always in the background, meaning there were enough memory to go around.

will be interesting to see how the korean-only quadcore/2gb hybrid will perform.
