Use Google Music, select offline music or play your song once to cache it.

Is the on-screen buttons always there, and when they're not there the black area where they are is always there... meaning the 4.65 inch screen is reduced of this area all the time (well except maybe in movie playing)?

It's always there but will hide for apps like youtube or movie player. You can hide it with custom rom to show full screen.

we do color adjustments to lengthen the lifespan of the superamoled screen, because the default setting might get screen burn. That's what i know about why our gNex needs color adjustments.

there's a way to toggle show/hide the navigation buttons with AOKP (not sure about other roms, just started to use CM9 nightly) so you can fully use the screen =)

some apps are encoded to hide when they start playing videos n games.
non dedicated developers of apps will be able to see the diffrence.
if u dun wan the nav bar, u can always destroy them and have floating buttons like isheep's

There's a function for that, look around in rom control in AOKP (aka unicorn love) xD

because Gnex is Samsung's stepchild unfortunately, but thanks to google, developers can make custom roms and kernels to unlock its highest potential (e.g. Nexus S still kicking) =)

nowadays I can't see any nexus phones in samsung roadshow. only their prized Note and S2.. (and soon the S3?)

Usually, it's hard to see Google/Nexus Phones on roadshow. Nothing unusual about that. tongue.gif

But, since Galaxy Nexus, Google had been putting Galaxy Nexus on Newspaper. So, GoOogle/Nexus phones will get famous sooner or later.

Anyone using lock screen widget on ICS 4.0.4? be it stock or custom ROM.

Once you activated the widget, could it straight lock the screen (totally shut off the screen)?

I tried 3 ROMS with 4.0.4 all didn't work well with the widget. It could lock then the screen wakes up again for 10 seconds before completely shut off.

Anyone facing this problem? hmm.gif
