QUOTE(Piccolo @ Jun 13 2012, 10:36 AM) New GNex user reporting in. Got a SME set on promo price. 1. That's if you wanna stick to stock rom, but I recommend AOKPSo, what's first to do? From OP, I think its: 1. yakjuxw --> yakju 2. baseband --> XXKK6 3. unlock bootloader ---> must ? 2. Any baseband for your liking, mine on KRLB1 3. I guess this is a must if you wanna flash your phone, and use CWM QUOTE(kels83 @ Jun 13 2012, 11:10 AM) Anyone can tell me, why i copy files to my phone it take so many hours... how come so slow 1, i just copy a gb file only. QUOTE(ddee181 @ Jun 17 2012, 11:46 PM) just curious to know do Gnex really need to do color adjustment? why the AOKP rom & some kernel both also hv the color setting? we do color adjustments to lengthen the lifespan of the superamoled screen, because the default setting might get screen burn. That's what i know about why our gNex needs color adjustments.QUOTE(jtdc @ Jun 17 2012, 11:47 PM) Is the on-screen buttons always there, and when they're not there the black area where they are is always there... meaning the 4.65 inch screen is reduced of this area all the time (well except maybe in movie playing)? there's a way to toggle show/hide the navigation buttons with AOKP (not sure about other roms, just started to use CM9 nightly) so you can fully use the screen =) |

QUOTE(jtdc @ Jun 17 2012, 11:55 PM) Wow so attentive owners, thanks for replying There's a function for that, look around in rom control in AOKP (aka unicorn love) xDQUOTE(ddee181 @ Jun 18 2012, 12:03 AM) i don't really understand about Color multiplier settings & gamma... because Gnex is Samsung's stepchild unfortunately, but thanks to google, developers can make custom roms and kernels to unlock its highest potential (e.g. Nexus S still kicking) =) what is the best setting? why google not implement the best setting out of stock rom??? nowadays I can't see any nexus phones in samsung roadshow. only their prized Note and S2.. (and soon the S3?) |
