Nexus is safe to drop at all the edge EXCEPT screen face down bang onto concrete. Confirm crack  So I still gave it a TPU case to at least leave the screen a little off ground just in case it dropped faced down.

Having that issue too. Need to reboot to get back the conn. Tested on b38 + Franco and b38 + Trinity. b38 + Trinity produce less issues. Maybe DiGi problem?

Have u tried the suggested RIL method. Basically dowload getril app. It will check ur current RIL and baseband whether it is match or not. If not just download and install suggested the RIL. I will try it anyway.

just something on trinity kernel w/ aokp.

I find that the color profile from trinity is a bit blueish and didn't really like it, but the kernel has made aokp so snappy, that it made me stay with it. I've trying d flashing to lean kernel after trinity due to the blue tint, but the performance difference is pretty huge.
No idea how Trinity managed to do it, so in the end I'm back to Trinity. After awhile I got used to the color profile (not really yet) and am enjoying the speed

btw I like cm9's speed but there is a troublesome notification light bug that I get that I have to go for other rom. Even the nightly main thread complained about this. Hopefully it'll get saved in the near future.

does anyone have issue with data connection loss for no reason?
i need to reboot my phone or switch on/off airplane mode for me to get back the connection. it's just got greyed out sometimes..

currently on 4.0.4 with aokp m5, stock kernel i think.
baseband : I9250XXLA2

is it only me? sorry if i'm asking noob question, i seldom read forum..and this is my first smartphone.

anyway, since aokp b39 and now b40 both with trinity kernel , i have not face the data connection loss issues yet (finger crossed).

maybe you should update from your current m5 which is kinda old by now

and i did try the getril apps...doesnt work for me as it mention my baseband is matching.

it is always advisable to wipe and flash BUT I've always dirty flash anyway as long as its from the same dev and same OS level , ie. 4.0.4 to 4.0.4

to be on the safe side, i always do a nandroid backup before dirty flash, so if there are problems then all i need to do is to restore the nandroid. You can try dirty flash first, if kacau then only you wipe and flash lor ..

I pay RM10 for TPU only It's not always that the phone will drop face down.
