Currently i am still using portable mobile charger to charge the camera on the run. Another extra battery could save down the hassle in calculation for taking shots and videos duration.

yeap. a very good store. it juz require 5 days to reach the buyer (organizer) based on my previous 2 bulk.
the downside, you can't do solo if you wan to save as min postage is $50 usd.
other than that, its all GL to your wallet

BH photo is from USA right? I was rejected my Canon battery purchase since the US seller cannot ship lithium ion battery to overseas due to govt regulation.

Yes it's a Sony SDHC card. I have the packaging with me so let me read out the specs: 8GB, up to 15MB/s, Class 4

Screen protector? The Sony Center tried to sell me one but I didn't bother yet. I'm used to not having any protector on my iPhone, iPad, Canon cameras coz they often annoy the heck out of me, LOL. But I *might* buy for this new baby though. See how. 

I don't shoot RAW. But for each JPEG it is about 4MB per photo. RAW is probably 15-20MB, I think? Then you can divide 32GB with this estimated RAW size. 

Just like Canon, original battery from Sony will set you back 200-300. I'm thinking of getting non-ori one from HK or China sellers. If I'm not mistaken, BHphoto will not be able to ship L-ion batteries via USPS. I dunno if they use DHL, UPS, etc. An ebay US seller recently refunded my money for Canon NB-6L since he cannot ship it.

Didn't book. Story like this: last Saturday I went to Lowyat to buy something else. Just look look see see and they had 1,999 price in stock. Went home, didn't buy, but kept dreaming about it. Then Wednesday I just walked in coz cannot tahan. They still had in stock. Hehe

Hope you'll get one too. This camera continues to amaze me. I've thrown any lighting situation and it took them like a champ. Only mode I haven't tried is fast-action shots when I'm playing tennis. Will try that this wknd.

Yes. I ordered from eBay seller based in NYC. It was Canon L-ion bateri. He refunded my money coz he said he cannot ship. But his listing had Malaysia so I ordered lor.

Btw I was asked by a forumer about the Sony Store at Lowyat where I bought mine for 1,999. Apparently there are 2 Sony "stores" in Lowyat if you check Sony Malaysia website. If you asked the wrong store, you will be quoted 2299 or 2399 (Sony KLCC still at 2499).

The one that has 1999 offer is at upper ground (1st floor I think) where there are plenty of camera shops. It also has Sony Centre signage but is actually managed by Foto Shangri-la.

Haha thnks Msia Sony Store only 2 bt the one quote u is Center which mean franchise other than KLCC and curve Sony store all other center carry Sony center is dealer so KLCC and curve only sell SRP no bargain at all or any price reductions only can get membership where selected items accessories is 10% but this membership card cannot use at Sony center and every RM50 u spend in Sony store equal to RM1 or if DSLR, Bravia and Home theatre is 5% point fr the value u purchase later u can use tis point to minus lets say RM50 and u got 30 points means u only pay RM20 ringgit.

Hmm, I went to the Sony Centre you mentioned, the lowest price they could give is RM2150.

After that, I searched around other shops, the lowest price I could get is RM2100 from Foto Shangri-la.

Ah, looks like luck is not on my side these days.
