I am new for this 1/6 new hobby...and now i starting to collect Hottoys..
Guys, advice me please, is it worth it to spend money on previous edition of batman series? Or will new version coming in..
Plus is it risky to get older version of iron,an hottoys..will the price be dropping as new figures coming in or will it be exclusive?

HT is getting more expensive though.
Worth or not is depends on you on how much you like it. Might have a new one coming for Batman and the smaller scale Bat.

Batman... DX11 and 12 are the last 1/6 scale Joker/Batman for the forseable future..
1/6 Bane was just released... Catwoman perhaps in a month or two
1/4 scale Dark Knight will perhaps be released this half of the year
1/12 scale The Bat will be announced soon.... presumed it comes with a 1/12 Batman (hopefully Catwoman too).

Iron Man...... as long as Marvel keeps making Iron Man movies... I suspect HT will keep producing figures... get a Mk.7 if you want.... then again there's Mk 42 and new War Machine in the near future...

Pricing... my rule... never pay more than retail price... if it drops all the better..

Exclusives: HT's way of Jacking up Price on already expensive figures that HT deems the demand would not be high or HT would have to sell at a lower retail price.. creating an artificial demand that fanboys will buy in droves... my advice again don't pay more than retail or feed middle men...

Thanks you for your advice though..still, i am a huge fan of batman, and this creates a problem where i have no no HT 1/6 figures at all. I missed the older preorder and now i have to start buying from the LYN streetmart.i can see how the dx12 price rosed from rm750 all the way to a minimum rm900..now i have to fork money to get the joker,catwoman,bane,gordon,batpod,trumbler..
Still having you as a mentor does a great deal in my journey towards hardcore collector.

why not just wait for the next batman movie then?

1. Not Cartoons... but under the VGM series... this was announced a year or so back..... I believe Joker figure from that game was made...

yes, as u can see, there are a lot of options for u even if u miss preorder.

batman is a famous character. so surely, there will be more batman movies in the future and more batman HT figures

Batsuit differs.. Most would say: 89 Bats looks better. No problems, I've 5 or 6, 89 Bats...

Dissapoinment
Pardon my post..but i really need to express my dissapointment of how some collector werE treated. Recently i decided to participate in LyN streetmart, engaging in bargaining with other collector.
I was really dissapointed on how fellow collector even dares to manipulates,tricks and even says harsh words to other collector.
Does collectors are only limited to those with money? Why some decent middleclass people cant be a collector and only those with money can.
Still i know, despite all these..we collector stand united against scalpters.
