hi guys, what's the difference buying Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 as a single stick, or in pair?
If i buy a single stick now, and next time buy another stick, will they operate in dual-channel mode even though they don't come in pair?

QUOTE(sss2sssss @ Aug 24 2012, 06:48 PM) I'm not using that software, I always install K-lite Mega codec pack to watch movie..... hi, found this comment about K-Lite on http://download.cnet.com/K-Lite-Mega-Codec...-10794603.html:Cons The latest version has malware attached. Summary If you can't find an older version of K-Lite, you might want to avoid it entirely until the malware is wholly removed. Version 7 worked well, and was safe. Same of version 6. QUOTE(xD4rever @ Aug 29 2012, 08:26 PM) y not buy 2x4gb kit set.. i also din't notice, but i think it wont matter... they are the same thing la... like some of our frens here said - packaging and marketing only la, i doubt it that they actually go to hand pick each and every pair, if they REALLY do that, the cost won't be like what it is now (just my speculation) Added on August 29, 2012, 8:32 pmQUOTE(sss2sssss @ Aug 29 2012, 08:27 PM) Hmmmm, so if I trade in mine one(One Hyundai, one Kingston, both also Hynix chip), will be top up RM30 right? Added on August 29, 2012, 8:27 pmHmmmm, so if I trade in mine one(One Hyundai, one Kingston, both also Hynix chip), will be top up RM30 right? i think he'd only do it if u bought your unit from him... i requested him first before i go... the pricing - i duuno if he'd offer the same amount or not... Do u also put data there? did u take out the DVD drive and put the Hdd there?

QUOTE(TarePanda @ Sep 1 2012, 09:12 AM) Did you feel the improvement? hi, i didn't run any benchmark test to check, and also i'm not a gamer, so don't really feel much difference. this is mainly a change of 8 gb at 1333MHz, to 8 gb at 1600MHz, so the difference would not be obvious unless really push the system to the limits. Maybe others who have done the same can run some tests to tell us?
