hi guys, what's the difference buying Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 as a single stick, or in pair?

If i buy a single stick now, and next time buy another stick, will they operate in dual-channel mode even though they don't come in pair?

i also din't notice, but i think it wont matter... they are the same thing la... like some of our frens here said - packaging and marketing only la, i doubt it that they actually go to hand pick each and every pair, if they REALLY do that, the cost won't be like what it is now (just my speculation)

hmm, 128GB, enough to store the OS, plus install all the programs already. Do u also put data there? did u take out the DVD drive and put the Hdd there?

what's the ssd's temperature there? I presume u don't use any cooling pad.

hi, i didn't run any benchmark test to check, and also i'm not a gamer, so don't really feel much difference. this is mainly a change of 8 gb at 1333MHz, to 8 gb at 1600MHz, so the difference would not be obvious unless really push the system to the limits.

Maybe others who have done the same can run some tests to tell us?

wonder if the new y400 would still place the HDD at the same "hot" spot or not...

just bought the X-mini MAX II Capsule speakers... sound bigger than the size!!! quite amazing... just that the bass loses to Logitech Z103 (but of course z103 has a sub woofer).

did u do a clean installation? can we just transfer the c: drive from old hdd to ssd? not that i'm lazy to install windows, just that there's a lot of other programs, and settings, etc etc... i'd hate to have to redo all these all over again...

ooo, let me put it, correct me if i'm wrong:

1. use the onekey recovery program to create a backup of my c:
2. copy that recovery folder into the new ssd
3. recover that folder in ssd
