Even if I sell your favorite player Stewart Downing in this scenario, for 12mil, well let's say i give LFC another extra 3 mil for his British genes and make it 15mil.
We would still have a paper loss of 5 mil.
On the contrary, Oussama bombed or got sacked for stealing a hairgel in Tesco, and leaves the club on free.
So which one is the better deal here? You will still have losses! Oh now we are getting back to the faith discussion again. So based on your logic, it's better to buy BMWs that break down regularly and having a KIA that is equally problematic but has no resale value? WOW, i'm impressed.
Brilliant theory you have there. Petre just took the words from my mouth. Enough said.
Hitler opinion on you guys beloved Stewart Downing
LOL...if i were in the room, i will just say these words to Hitler. "Glauben, mein Fuhrer, GLAUBENNNNNNNNNNNN FUHRER!!!!!!!" (Faith, my king, faithhhhhhhhhhhhh !) Hitler would have took his Luger out and shot me on the feckin spot.

It is your point that is being rebutted there, not mine. U-turning now?
Yeah maybe I shouldn't have justify your point on "If Oussama bombed, we lose nothing. If Joe Allen bombed we lose 15 million". It's just ridiculous.
As for your point earlier, at least with a broken BMW, if you manage to fix it, you will have a BWM. Even if you fix a Kia, a Kia would still be a Kia.
I sincerely hope you rooting LFC for the right cause and not secretly hoping players to fail.
Really excited new season starts tonight. Never cared what race or religion the players are, just as long as they play and perform for our beloved club, then they can be proud to declare they wear the gold liverbird crest.
Like chairman Mao once said, don't care if is white cat or black cat........
Looking forward to a good start to a season of renewed hope. YNWA!

The movie is Downfall in case you didn't know. Great movie
Saw a few videos of assaidi playing n tis guy is quite skillfull! Glad BR is signing more attacking players like him and Joe Allen as compared to KK who signed defensive players like Henderson and Charlie Adam. I hope we'll be able to create lots of chances and hopefully score lots of goals too! Can't wait for tonite's game!
then u agre hi season liverpool not title challenge material? not fight in the bracket of man u, man city, chelsea?
imho..yes.plus the late addition might need some time to gel while we are going against the big 5 in the first few games. quite hard to predict.will have to see how we fare till October (by then we have fought all the big 5)

Pep Segura left Liverpool.
I am sad, terribly sad. Looking at what he did for the Youth Team and the Reserve Team, he has done so much. And Liverpool did not stop him from leaving, the same thing with Steve Clarke.
I am sad. Very sad.
Any official reason?
I remember Ian Ayre mentioned about him and Borrell being promoted but since BR was appointed, the decision was shelved. You would think that when FSG was looking for a manager, these 2 are perfect fit to be their 'consultants'. but word is, none of them had any input in it. We may have gotten lucky with BR, but it makes you wonder what went behind the curtains then.
On a side note: Anybody seen The Star Sports page today and their sarcastic 'titanic' remark?
