not keen on the g500, the design kinda mehhhh, and i think that's more for people with claw grip?  i'm more to palm/fingertip sweat.gif hahhaha but the DA tho, sounds good and suits my kind of grip. but not sure which version to get, kinda worried it might be one of those problematic razer product those people kept complaining bout hmm.gif
*
the G500 is sort of a palm grip type.. but you could claw it with large hands I guess...the design is to one's preference... I don't mind at all even if you dun like smile.gif

the DA is definitely a palm grip but I guess you know that Razer products is not known for their durability

so wish someone would bring in Mionix sad.gif

well if you say it like that, then, yeah, i guess it is still depends on one's preference. i just couldn't stomach g500's design, real odd that one. blush.gif

yeah, DA's design is more to my liking, just that durability problem of their's is what concerns me. don't wanna spend money on something that is not worth the value.

Mionix? the brand from sweden? are they good? i've seen their mice b4, seems nice hmm.gif
*
lol you don't have to get something you don't like just because someone says it's good smile.gif

Not too sure about the reliability.. but maybe you should give other brands a try?? thermaltake, Cooler Master, Armageddon and Roccat seems to have nice designs that may suit your budget...decent looking at least... though it's hard to find a review of these mice

QUOTE(Craxuan @ Nov 26 2012, 07:26 PM)
Logitech mouses are always good. I had an old plastic Logitech mouse abandoned in my storage of dust-filled-junks and recently tested it out for Osu gameplay. The damn thing works even though it's been at least 2 years since I've touched it.

Would have recommended the Logitech MX518 - I'm currently using it - but it's kinda heavy and I sometimes face serious problems with the thumb placement, especially when playing Osu. How to say, I'd like to have the face of my thumb full pressed against the device, but the longer I play a song the more my thumb 'turns' to the side instead, curls up, and eventually screw me up big time... And it might be because I have a small palm.

I've bought a recent magazine which praises the Armagaddeon as a serious attempt to compete with high quality mouse at lower prices, but that's not even a review so I can't help you there.
*
Yeap, there are no reviews on the Armageddon line of products very curious as to how they perform..

even though they claim to compete with high quality products while being lower in price, the truth of the matter is that they are not any cheaper than what other famous products are priced at. Would you pay RM300 for a brand thats' new and untested or would you just jump to Steelseries, Roccat & Logitech?

Hi sifus, I feel Logitech G400 is abit heavy for prolong use... what do you think? Thanks.
*
that depends on the users actually, some will prefer a heavier mouse while others will want a lighter one... IMHO the G400 at 105gm is ok for me.. almost same weight as my Ikari optical

only other option is to change mouse that's lighter than 105gm which you could see from outside the box

is there a way that i can get the mx 518? seems like no1 is selling it.. i would want a new unit sealed
*
the MX518 has been replaced with the G400 so I don't thing you'd find it on shelves any longer.. if it was a few months back when the G400 is launched there might be still some..

but the g400 gas the same contours but of course the internals are slightly upgraded, why not just get that one instead?

Thanks for the recomendation, any chance there are models for left-handed users which are wireless?
don't mind upping the budget a little bit smile.gif
and also where to purchase the mouse? LoL
Thank you notworthy.gif
*
if it's specifically for lefties I can't think of any, ambidextrous mouse is your best bet for wireless options
These are all I can think of...

Razer has Ouroboros & Mamba
Gigabyte has the Avia M8600
Roccat has Pyra Wireless

but I dunno how good they are whistling.gif

the Mx518 is a Gaming mouse... but it is no longer in production and had been replaced by the G400.. still a gaming mouse wink.gif for the same price (Rm80), there is still the G300, still a Gaming mouse.. else you could go for the G500 (definitely a gaming mouse) that costs around RM180.. Razer DA is around that RM180 price as well as the CM storm Spawn

*All of the mouse mentioned and suggested to you is a gaming mouse brows.gif

is gigabyte m6900 for 60 ringgit a good buy?

hows the performance? on par with logitech g400?
*
the M6900 is a good mouse but compared to the G400, don't expect the build quality is that good, Had several Gigabyte mouse before and they all got junked in a year or so, was good while it lasted though... the Mx518 (G400's predecessor) is still kicking since 2009 wink.gif

QUOTE(tennytyy @ Feb 5 2013, 02:40 PM)
Is it worth upgrading from Abyssus to DeathAdder 2013?
Prefer Razer brand though
*
it's probably a more personal choice.. the upgrade in sensor will benefit a few ppl and is heavilly depending on the individual's gaming style and setup... and you're switching from ambidex to palm mouse so up to you to consider

any one using it?

thats too bad actually, quiet mouse are usually not meant for gaming the touch mouse is definitely meant for win8 interactions and IMHO not everyone is keen on jumping just yet... there is a mod you can do but it involves taling something out from the switches in the mouse

will it ruin the mousepad? is it make from rubber, the QcK ?
*
well its a cloth mousepad with rubber bottom to prevent it from slipping but it is quite resilient so worth to try..

basically any mousepad is fine but the SS QCK series are one of the most used with good feedback wink.gif

Hello guys! Long time no post here. I wanna ask opinion on a new mouse, heavy usage on FPS especially BF3, my G400 got problem already..not smooth and got problems with the buttons. Well its almost 2 years already not to mention the teflon pad missing.
*
Whats your budget??

and IMO you should probably get another G400 to replace it.. not many mouse can last that long with your kind of usage.. might wanna wait for the new G400s though smile.gif

Well i probably gonna get G500 lol. The G400 served me well enough..gonna use it in my office after replace for a new mouse. Budget is around RM200.
*
for rm200 the G500 should fit the bill better, aside from that, the shape is somewhat similar to the G400 so I think thats the best course of action for you there smile.gif
