I baru received it yesterday. Barely had any time to test it out yet. biggrin.gif SRP is RM269, but should be able to get it at a lower price than that. smile.gif

So far my initial impressions are:
1. This mouse is solid and heavy, with the 2 x AA batteries installed.
2. Nice rubber sides, not the smooth type but a bit grainy. Very comfortable when gripping it and non-slip too.
3. Ergonomic shaped, I feel slightly more suitable for palm grip.
4. Side buttons can get in the way if you have a large thumb. tongue.gif
5. Large sized, suitable for people with bigger hands.
6. Primary buttons and scroll wheel feels nice when pressed and scrolled, respectively.

Well, it was my first "gaming" wireless mouse per se, but anyway I would say thumbs up for a very nice and solid new mouse from Logitech. biggrin.gif

Oh?? I smell another review article laugh.gif you bought ka bro?? cause seems you're still using DA, what gives?

braided is like the the power cord of those old rice cooker or iron?

what's the benefit?
*
braided cables are less likely to fold and tangle because the braids actually add to the stiffness of the cable so that it won't curl too much while remaining flexible enough for gliding, this also prevents the cable from sticking to other cables behind the PC

Hi, I need a recommendation here.

I'm torn between G100s and G500s, don't know which to choose.

I just want a good mouse with long life biggrin.gif

But both are quite small mouse don't you think? Compare to Razer Deathadder.

Looking for a big mouse because my palm is quite big too.
*
G100s is a 3 button mouse, the most basic of basic for any usage including gaming

G500s has more features and buttons and controls that is built mainly for gaming functionality

thats why the G500s comes in at a higher price, both will serve yo long IMHO Logitech is renowned for longevity

Logitech G300s / G400s ?
*
+1, the G400s is a good bet, similar button layout mouse can be found, the latest I've tested is the Armaggeddon Alien IV G9x biggrin.gif can look at my article here -> http://www.tech-critter.com/2013/10/first-...n-alien-iv.html

there is also the CoolerMaster Recon, Corsair M65 or even the smaller Coolermaster Storm Spawn, all have 2 buttons at the side, offerings from Razer, thermaltake, Zalman or Gigabyte also have them...

Thought of taking thermaltake, but it's expensive. I don't mind if it's expensive as long it's a good unit. Some say Razer mouse have short lifespan;1 year++ whereas Logitech >2Years.

Is thermaltake a good brand for mouse? unsure.gif
*
from the reviews online, they sure looked good, no usage experience myself so it's best that you give it a whirl at the shops before you buy wink.gif

Hey guys!
Any recommendations for a good wireless mouse? also keyboard.

I occasionally play on my TV so a wireless model is best. Games I play are DotA, Skyrim, COD, but not competitive that i need the best dpi/macro, etc. Just want something comfortable

Considering RAT 9 or Razor Mamba for now
Or just some cheapo microsoft/logitech bundle
*
Gaming on wireless.... you could pick up the Logitech G602 for the mouse... as for the keyboard... maybe the K750?? not really a fan of wireless keyboards lol else a rapoo wireless will do if you don't mind going cheapo tongue.gif

Alo everybardy !
I would like to get a gaming mouse. RAT 7 Cyborg caught my eye, anyone here owns one and knows where to get it?

Otherwise, would like to get the G500S logitech, looks awesome too. Is there any G500S user here?
*
IMHO most would agree that it's an expensive mouse that has sub-par performance, no real experience using the Rat series but heard that it has tracking issues on a lot of surfaces.. you could get them in major outlets like AllIT or Viewnet but they're very scarce nowadays...

The G500S would be my recommendation, IF the price were to go down a bit, but it's still a good mouse for gaming

My personal new favourite is the Gamdias Hades, solid performer much like the Logitech G400 for a decent pricetag -> http://www.tech-critter.com/2013/12/gamdia...cal-gaming.html

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Dec 30 2013, 11:11 PM)
I've heard of the common issues such as double left click problem and the extremely poor battery life. Is this true?
*
yes I hear the same thing, but Logitech is renowned for their peripheral build quality, most likely that's a bad batch... still... better than Razer

Any nice gaming mouse below RM100? Saw SteelSeries v2 for 99. How's the performance?
*
Give Gamdias Demeter a try, http://www.tech-critter.com/2014/01/gamdia...ming-mouse.html

QUOTE(Nxxbkiller @ Jan 7 2014, 11:04 PM)
My friend just broke my deathadder 2013 today, he clicked multiple times of right click at lightning speed for 1 minute to test my mouse. When I play codghost, sometime it won't aiming down the sight instead of hip firing (Means double click occur)
I have used this mouse for 1 year, I feel like the quality is a bit **** but the sensor is not bad. So yea, I'm looking to change another mouse

Budget RM200 below (Cheaper is better)
Not too many keys/complicated, simple like deathadder as I don't really use these button.
FPS, Dota 2 Games
Wired USB mouse (I don't like battery stuff)
Great sensor
DPI doesn't really matter
Comfortable and size like deathadder
Design simple like deathadder
Palm Grip

Any sifus can recommend me some mouse?  ==''
*
Sounds like the Logitech G400s or G500s to me lolz, gotta admit, switching from DA is really hard because of it's comfort, maybe you could also try the Gamdias Hades? it's an ambidextrous mouse but customisable in size, I got a review on the optical versiion -> http://www.tech-critter.com/2013/12/gamdia...cal-gaming.html

Any help on this? Also, would like a recommendation on the surface to go along with the recommended mouse..
Thanks.
*
it's all on the way you use the mouse, I don't have a problem with accuracy of any mice because I don't tweak the things that other people claim will improve the performance of the mouse, if you need to be accurate I suggest that you play with the on-the-fly DPI settings or get a trackball mouse but I do tend to lean towards optical mouse as it gets the job done and also most are cheaper than their laser counterparts

Since you're comfortable with the G700 albeit the accuracy, I'm guessing that palm grip mouse will be your primary concern.... second being the multiple buttons?? suggest you try looking at these

Gamdias Zeus
Corsair M95
Logitech G600
Logitech G602
Razer Naga Hex

there are others, such as those from Thermaltake, Geniius, armaggeddon etc, so it's best to try befor buy

budget: RM250 max if possible
dpi:Mostly FPS for me so high is nice

wireless is a plus if possible, but not required. Buttons are a nice plus

I'd look at CM Storm Spawn, Zowie Mico, and the Logitech G9x for mouse of similar size... Roccat too but I'm not too familiar with the size of their mouse
