Get a Roccat Kova, simple configuration n fancy lights. I love it

i just bought the G700 last week and also considered the M950. The M950 is about RM20-30 more but I feel both felt the same in the hand. They also look nearly identical and when compared to my MX1000 the G700 is just 1-2mm lower at the peak. I chose the G700 primarily because it stores all the button setting in the mouse so you can run on any other computer that does not have the setpoint or LGS installed without losing your settings. I also got the G700 since it had more buttons and I am using it for my games too.

Anyone want a faulty Cyborg R.A.T. 7 for decoration or whatever purpose? Brought few years ago, use for a month and the laser not working all of sudden. With no way to RMA last time, it spent years in the cupboard

Consider the offerings from Roccat too. I've been using a Kova[+] for half a year now, pretty comfortable with it.
