I wonder if there's anyone who's capable of fixing faulty mouse here. I have a R.A.T 7 that I brought at least a year ago when I travel, used for about a month before I encounter some issue with laser. The buttons works fine, just that the laser aren't doing anything and I can't move the cursor. During that time I tried to send it in for RMA, but there are only center in EU so I just keep it in the box until now.

What would I do is to contact the support team at Madcatz, look for help there.

For me when anything happens to my Logitech mouse, I contact the online customer service first, then they will guide me to my next step.

I did when I first encounter the problem , there's is just no way I can RMA it. They just keep passing the problem to another branch. What more after years now, I don't think it's even under warranty anymore.

If that is the case, I think you are probably left with no choice. Maybe you can send to some electronics shop to get a check on the circuit board etc.

Else, you got to move on and get another mouse. I once had a Acrox Gaming Mouse, once the sensor went bad, I didn't get the support I should have. In the end, I gave up on it because sending it to repair can probably get me a new gaming already for the same cost of sending it to repair the mouse.

The only bad thing is that your RAT7 doesn't come cheap. Good luck.

Anyone want a faulty Cyborg R.A.T. 7 for decoration or whatever purpose? Brought few years ago, use for a month and the laser not working all of sudden. With no way to RMA last time, it spent years in the cupboard biggrin.gif

You could try to repair it if you want, Batu Caves area.

Anyone know how's the razer mamba 4g quality ?
If compare to Ouroborus ?
How bout the battery life ?
Advice needed . =(
*
I don't own Mamba but I recommend that over Ouroboros. The tracking on both shouldn't have any issue but the battery life on Ouroboros could only last for maybe 6 hours of continuous gaming. Not really a problem considering I don't game that much nowadays and I always place the mouse on the charging dock when I switch off my PC or during movie session.

The thing that bother me the most and probably the only issue I have with the mouse is the adjustable palm rest. It wobbles like nobody's business, the plastic sound it annoys me a lot when I first use it. I got used to it after awhile.
