QUOTE(leongsem @ Oct 31 2012, 03:32 PM) who is TS? just now my SA told me I need to pay RM15 for the alignment and balancing he said too far from the office to SC Added on November 1, 2012, 10:21 amJust get my car yesterday - found some very funny with the fuel efficiecny display at 1st is show 19l/100km, afterthat slowly drop to 12l/100km will it continue to drop for next few drives - reverse camera that I installed is not good, no clear view at nite - Don know how to get the spare tyre and install it back, need to zerk the car up before can remove it? thanks 1. The fc reading you set at instantaneous or average fc? 2.Reverse camera you installed from proton or outside shop? If from proton, memang like that because at night outside dark. When it is dark, iso will be higher, which will result in more noise. Its funny they no put camera with infrared to have better view at night 3. Havent try yet...lol |

QUOTE(dreamKrusher @ Nov 7 2012, 02:36 AM) double check: Its very rare the fan keep spinning after switch off engineafter switch off the car, the sound from the engine IS FROM A FAN? that fan is for cooling the engine, or the turbo? since that fan is moving, while the car is off, that means it is taking electrical power from battery without getting charged back (by the attenuator). so result in a short life battery? dry battery right? this is something i think of but always forget to ask... Should the electrical pump not enough to cool down the engine, the fan will spin too to increase efficiency There will be no significant effect on battery, my other car is campro and it also has the same cool down features, battery life span still good after use for 2years |

QUOTE(ir5 @ Nov 9 2012, 12:17 AM) to all exora bold cfe owners, This post has been edited by neo1point3: Nov 9 2012, 08:30 AM1) do you experienced before on your car that sometimes the engine just died when you try to reverse the car or even after you start the car and immediately accelerate? but these symptom only happened occasionally... is this something normal and no need to worry about?? - Oil control valve faulty, please send to sc to fix 2) when you start the car early in the morning, do you hear any whining sound (sounds like the disc brake pad scratching the disc) at the back side of the car? ...again this symptom is not continuously happened (kinda intermittent..)...any root cause to this issue? When you start to move or stationary? My eb only got sound when start to move early in the morning. I dont think its a problem. Because some part at the disc brake rusty and when it contact with the brake pad it will scratch it off 3) sounds like there's a losing part tangling inside the aircond top grille at the driver side...again this symptom is not continuously happened (kinda intermittent..)...any root cause to this issue? kindly share your feedback...tq This one I've no idea |

Yesterday after Friday pray, i went to this one long empty road.
So this time I really test my EB, full throttle from 0-150km/h. The rpm stay at 5.2k and not going more than that during accelerate. Speedometer climbs fast as expected Then when few metres reaching a bump, I full press brake paddle! The brake is so responsive, and strong! ABS activated when speed at 50km/h-0km/h. The paddle vibrate when abs activated too! No screeching sound from tyre After that i accelerate back to 60km/h and make a full u turn, feels like want to terbalik So far im satisfied with my Exora bold cfe The hazard light also flashes few times automatically after hard braking! |

QUOTE(ir5 @ Nov 12 2012, 04:26 PM) Oh ya, just forgot to ask all the EB owners....do you heard sounds like "zzzz'' "zzz'' at the co-pilot foot area when the car hit any hard/large pit hole? If i'm not mistaken i've asked the SC and they said it's normal due to the ABS system..is that true? Every exora have this sound when run over pothole or run over bump at fast speed. So far the ABS still functioningBut not sure if that will create problem after many years using EB Added on November 12, 2012, 8:28 pmBtw, can someone here confirm Proton release new TCU update? Is for EB and preve or preve only? This post has been edited by neo1point3: Nov 12 2012, 08:28 PM |

QUOTE(Turbocrazy @ Nov 14 2012, 06:47 PM) AFAIK, its half leather & half PU for all CFE bold model. Meaning, the top front is genuine leather but at the back side where u slide magazine & new paper is PU.. I prefer fabric than leather! Not sure how long can last, depending how u take care, need to nourish the leather with leather conditioner. IMHO, I felt fabric seats are more lasting then leather seats. |
