Taliking abt the standard champiro tyres, I read from the earlier posts that the tyres are low quality.
My rear tyres burst on Raya eve at abt 11 pm. after hiiting something on the road. Luckily I managed to extricate and use the spare tyre, though it was quite difficult using the standard tools. This is the first time that my tyres burst after driving for so long and maybe there is some truth abt the quality of the tyres. Usually the tyres on my other cars will deflate gradually. Another thing, if your spare tyres are wider than the 16/205..it won't fit in the spare tyre compartment.. For emergency purpose the shop had only a used 16/215 tyre I wanted to use as a temporary spare tyre, but it couldn't fit in... |

If not mistaken the oem spark plug for CFE is NGK Iridum Platinum, may be this plug also can replace with Denso Iridum or Bosch Iridium Platinum with same size & spec. Anyway Iridium spark plug very long lasting at least for 3-5 years.

Was doing some cross ref on the plug but couldn't get it for Denso or BOSCH
The best i can search is DENSO SC20HR11 (not sure the heat range are the same?) - http://www.globaldenso.com/en/products/aft.../2007/05_2.html You can look at the heat range converter here - https://www.ngk.com/learning-center/article...onversion-chart For Proton Exora Bold Cfe - NGK heat range 7 This post has been edited by akchang: Oct 27 2012, 10:27 PM |

QUOTE(leongsem @ Oct 29 2012, 08:25 AM) So you plan to change a new set of tyre? For superb performance, comfort & long lasting try find Toyo T1R/C1S or Michelin PS3 or Continental MaxContact5. Cheap good choice Neuton NT5000/8000 or Yokohama CDrive2. not sure which brand of tyre should I change when my come arrived |

I'm not the seller just to share the info. Last time I managed trade in my CFE tyre & rims at RM1500.
Toyo & Michelin PS3 at RM400+ each, Neuton & CDrive2 at RM250+ each. Toyo & Michelin PS3 are at UHP level compare with Neuton & CDrive2. If you upgrade to 17" rims the are many other better UHP tyre option. This post has been edited by jemmi: Oct 29 2012, 04:48 PM |

Toyo & Michelin PS3 are at UHP level compare with Neuton & CDrive2. This price for Exora CFE original 16""rim size. For 17" rims size Toyo RM450 each & PS3 around RM500+ at my Klang area (normally I asked at Hin Leong or Ban Hooi). If you know how to nego the price will be cheaper a bit. Normally I asked my friend working at used car nearby bought it, used car can get special price. Added on October 30, 2012, 8:36 am QUOTE(leongsem @ Oct 29 2012, 09:13 PM) 15" rim set trade in value for sure lower coz the 5 hole 15"rim look like no demand, the design also not special.Anyway you can try it at Rawang, heard trade in value there higher than Klang.
