BTW guys if anyone having problems with bluetooth headset pausing or conflict if you have more than 1 music players, you can use roomtoolbox to disable the other player. my situation was with Apollo and Neutron, sometimes neutron will get killed off by apollo, this i noticed after countless times the music stopped for no reason. And i cant freeze apollo coz it will somehow still affect neutron, another thing i found by trial and error. finally while playign with rom toolbox, i found a part where we can edit autostart apps, and there is an events receiver tab, then i click and walla i managed to stop apollo from reading the media keys. And from that day on, i have no problems with neutron anymore, there's alot of options with the events and autostart, you guys should give it a try
QUOTE(arslow @ Jun 22 2012, 12:07 AM) for me fluxxi has superb on screen time( 4 hours with constant wifi usage on stock battery), so so idle battery life, but very laggy scrolling in homescreen and drawer yes i agree got lag, my apex lags, most of the time it will be this scenario, apex will get killed off my android's auto memory management, then when i press home button, apex will load all over again, then will lag lag then only smooth. sometimes apex didnt even get killed off also will lag lag, then smooth never tried changing governor but im now on TW lol, trying out salmanROM for some sort of s3 feel but I think I have had enough of it QUOTE(azone1 @ Jun 22 2012, 12:24 AM) Hi, my phone has a problem..when i'm try to dial a number, it will close the dialer and prompt with message : unfortunately, contacts has stopped. What can i do? I'm using android 4.0.3 dxlp9. QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jun 22 2012, 11:40 AM) Modded 6.8.1 with World Wide nav has been out for a while lol. It's a pain to install though, as per all modded system apps. please read the full thing of what happened, nehalem was saying that the official one has navigation la Plus it likes to die on it's own in Nav mode sometimes, vs the older 6.7 versions which was rock solid. AND the NEW integrated "bubble buttons" (it's no longer an option in Labs) cut down the action buttons per location to 1 (it was 2 originally), which might be WTF to some of you. So your call whether to upgrade ornot. QUOTE(flowerbunkus @ Jun 23 2012, 01:03 AM) anyone know how to fix this. if in GB its not working means it never worked before? if that is the case, then i guess it really is hardware issue, those non-g who upgraded to ics sammy rom will have this problem too but we can enable wifi once we restart and aosp immediately fixes this problem.already ask here before..but no fix were available at the moment. problem appears on GB. flash to ICS. still no fix slim ICS, AOSP ICS..still no fix. anyone. or just the driver either hardware itself problem. QUOTE(mtxx @ Jun 23 2012, 09:05 PM) Saw this android thread. best you look at youtube videos, there's TONS of it showing off the MHL capabilities.http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2399416 its basically a pendrive size mini pc that has android OS inside. it can connect to HDTV and use as a small PC. cost RM300, not a bad idea. but the fact that its a single core bugs me. my S2 seems more powerful. I was wondering, is it possible to connect the MHL port to the HDTV, then use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard at the same time. then it will be like a mini android PC too. do you guys think its possible? will the browser resolution become big when connect to the tv? or its just a blown up version of the phone screen. and is it possible to connect bluetooth mouse and keyboard at the same time? |

QUOTE(mtxx @ Jun 23 2012, 09:33 PM) i just watch your video. the important thing i want to know is the browser. looking at the last few minutes of the video, the browser is a blown up version of the phone screen. meaning its a 800x480 resolution displayed on the screen. that wouldn't be a ideal experience. i was thinking paranoid rom with its tablet mode might be able to solve it, but if not mistaken, aosp aokp dont have TV out feature. is there a way to set s2 able to be a full pc resolution browser when connect to tv? if can, then i straight want to buy a mhl adapter already. here's another video, from what i see the its an upscaled version of the dophin browser. so if you ask me, i would say yes, paranoid android will help you, the resolution remains the same, but wut we use is dpi dot per inch, which would make the texts etc smaller, so you would see it as a larger resolution. i think paranoid android supports tvout as there's a tvout app running, you can ask any paranoid android user they would have noticed that. but i think you should ask someone else to confirm, i dont have a mhl or a hdmi tv atm. if you insist on using the samsung rom you can try this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...e=search_result but of course, you will have problems with the densities, you might have to fix them by redownloading new version of the apps etc as suggested in that link playstore's comments. Even us paranoid android users have to flash new gapps so we wont fc all the time. if this app doesnt suit you, the keyword here is DPI not resolution oh yea and it seems MHL interferes with the android wifi/3g signal, some seems to have it some works perfectly here's a thread discussing the problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1303133 This post has been edited by destEX: Jun 23 2012, 10:10 PM |

QUOTE(mtxx @ Jun 23 2012, 11:28 PM) like i said, it is DPI, only the dpi can be changed, not resolution, the resolution remains the same no matter what dpi you put. DPI is dot per inchit only makes things smaller, but the resolution remains the same This post has been edited by destEX: Jun 24 2012, 01:30 AM |

QUOTE(barca96 @ Jun 24 2012, 01:18 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Im really bitterly disappointed with this phone. Im seriously considering of getting a iphone instead. It's really a shame that my little brother's iphone 3gs's internet speed is faster, better range, works, doesn't lag, doesn't hang. And this while my little brother's iphone 3gs has tons of games and apps. And jailbreak too! And drops his phone a million times while I never dropped my phone before. Yet he never has a problem. anyways, sgs2 or better yet, android, doesn't suit you at all, by all means, go sell this junk of a phone and go get the iphone, seriously, you're not capable of using it, there's a reason why your little brother can use a 3gs you know, now go get a 4s. |

QUOTE(firemoon82 @ Jun 24 2012, 11:29 PM) point of note, never follow another person's UV and settings exactly, you must know that every chip is manufactured differently, different impurities, different properties, etc, they are never the same, nehalem may be able to UV but you may not be able to, so much. another thing is UV doesnt gives much effects to battery saving, this is widely discussed in xda, anyways you prefer save abit battery but unstable, or a stable phone but lose abit batt?you can uv but uv slowly, from uv abit and slowly increase the uv and make sure you check if its stable by doign heavy tasks, play games etc, until you cant uv anymore Added on June 24, 2012, 11:56 pm QUOTE(nehalem176 @ Jun 24 2012, 09:23 PM) LoL, just realize it's has been ported. congrats G user. another new rom for ya. yea, in the end i long hold power reboot it, now okay ad, dunno wut happen juz now@destex: still stuck at lockscreen? oh yea i went and look at the conservative governor settings and see why it performs better than ondemand, and my thoughts exactly, the sampling rate is more than half and it has lower up threshold, so in other words conservative will have better performance but not as batt saving as ondemand but on demand will not be able to react faster than conservative This post has been edited by destEX: Jun 24 2012, 11:58 PM |
