hmm i noticed changin fluxi governor to conservative is a lot smoother than on demand

navigation is not enabled

did you try it? once you try to use turn by turn navigation it will say region not supported or smtg like that

BTW guys if anyone having problems with bluetooth headset pausing or conflict if you have more than 1 music players, you can use roomtoolbox to disable the other player. my situation was with Apollo and Neutron, sometimes neutron will get killed off by apollo, this i noticed after countless times the music stopped for no reason. And i cant freeze apollo coz it will somehow still affect neutron, another thing i found by trial and error. finally while playign with rom toolbox, i found a part where we can edit autostart apps, and there is an events receiver tab, then i click and walla i managed to stop apollo from reading the media keys. And from that day on, i have no problems with neutron anymore, there's alot of options with the events and autostart, you guys should give it a try


yes i agree got lag, my apex lags, most of the time it will be this scenario, apex will get killed off my android's auto memory management, then when i press home button, apex will load all over again, then will lag lag then only smooth. sometimes apex didnt even get killed off also will lag lag, then smooth my only assumption is that the pickup speed too slow they have such governor settings to improve it but well havent been editing governors since GB and siyah days, so dont know what is good in this kernel and ics. so i changed to conservative and hey smooth, even if it gets killed, it loads fast and smooth fast well i dont really care about battery life, i care more about if it lags when i scroll my launcher more as my launchers have widgets that i use alot, like for taking notes quickly and has website bookmarks, music player etc

go settings>apps>all> phone> scroll down abit and press clear data, if still cant work, then do the same for contacts. bear in mind u will lose all ur contacts, but you will get them back if you did not mess with the google sync-ing your contacts online

aik? working ah? its not the view google maps wan u know, navigationone, the blue triangle icon, its like papago/garmin, and have voice navigation too.


if that's the correct one then i guess google enabled it for us?

Added on June 22, 2012, 1:28 pmyou must be in an open area with a view of the sky, if ur glass got tinting etc will affect the lockings etc etc there's a lot of factors affecting the locking of gps. if you want instant lockings, or near instant, you must have data plan on with mobile networks enabled in settings>locations

not missing, just not being shown, its reserved for the system. the same thing happens with non-g, ram usage increased after updating but ours is shown the full amount la.

if in GB its not working means it never worked before? if that is the case, then i guess it really is hardware issue, those non-g who upgraded to ics sammy rom will have this problem too but we can enable wifi once we restart and aosp immediately fixes this problem.

best you look at youtube videos, there's TONS of it showing off the MHL capabilities.

here's another video, from what i see the its an upscaled version of the dophin browser. so if you ask me, i would say yes, paranoid android will help you, the resolution remains the same, but wut we use is dpi dot per inch, which would make the texts etc smaller, so you would see it as a larger resolution.
i think paranoid android supports tvout as there's a tvout app running, you can ask any paranoid android user they would have noticed that. but i think you should ask someone else to confirm, i dont have a mhl or a hdmi tv atm.

but of course, you will have problems with the densities, you might have to fix them by redownloading new version of the apps etc as suggested in that link playstore's comments. Even us paranoid android users have to flash new gapps so we wont fc all the time. if this app doesnt suit you, the keyword here is DPI not resolution

oh yea and it seems MHL interferes with the android wifi/3g signal, some seems to have it some works perfectly

paranoid android uses 128 as default (changeable of coz)

tablet is 120

like i said, it is DPI, only the dpi can be changed, not resolution, the resolution remains the same no matter what dpi you put. DPI is dot per inch
it only makes things smaller, but the resolution remains the same

i'm more worried if 4.1 is gonna be any better or its just gonna gobble up more ram. they didnt improve any performance in ics compared to gingerbread besides eating more ram by adding more eye candies

oh i think i juz experience a slowmo bug for the first time since i moved from siyah. was in xxtweaker rc2, when i press the restore settings button, phone jam~ then slowmo crt-off then now stuck in lockscreen, fantastic

point of note, never follow another person's UV and settings exactly, you must know that every chip is manufactured differently, different impurities, different properties, etc, they are never the same, nehalem may be able to UV but you may not be able to, so much. another thing is UV doesnt gives much effects to battery saving, this is widely discussed in xda, anyways you prefer save abit battery but unstable, or a stable phone but lose abit batt?

you can uv but uv slowly, from uv abit and slowly increase the uv and make sure you check if its stable by doign heavy tasks, play games etc, until you cant uv anymore

oh yea i went and look at the conservative governor settings and see why it performs better than ondemand, and my thoughts exactly, the sampling rate is more than half and it has lower up threshold, so in other words conservative will have better performance but not as batt saving as ondemand but on demand will not be able to react faster than conservative

yes, to use it connect to your home wifi hotspot for example, and the files to be shared must be inside your library, my pics/my vids/my music, then you need enable content sharing, then you can see it in the allshare app
