Dont' really understand this package..
Means if i get value 50 + 1GB = RM 98 per month?

And does this package offer supplementary lines?
*
Their package is kinda confusing.
Same goes to their billing statement.

It's like you have to pay RM48++ to get the 1GB data.
In other words, you're subcribing to 2 plans at the same time?

wow that is frustrating indeed, sorry to hear your story, if i were you,i try to take it up to skmm
*
Not sure how to do that though.
I'll just take the easier path.
Perhaps its fate that I move to a better network.

Call Digi and ask to speak with their manager , usually any problem I have I speak with their manager and get it solved quicker
*
Well I tried and they said he can't do that.
By the way, the guy was Doddie. I hope no one ends up in his care for customer service.
The guy could only repeatedly tell me "sorry".
Even said, "You wouldn't want me to lie to you right? I can't tell you that it'll take less time as it takes 2 days to complete your request."

Although Maxis may have sometimes made blunders and charge for no reason, all the stories I've heard so far, their customer support would try to do something for you and they usually live up to their word.

Digi just turned into TM Customer Service.
"I'm sorry, writing a report for you is all I can do. Please call back to check on the status of your report. Thank you".

Maxis still have not come out with their plan.
But I assume that it will follow like in this andriod package.
http://maxis.com.my/personal/android/Android_Packages.asp
Just take the RRP as RM2199.
The package range from value call plan or data plan.
Unless they have a specific S3 plan.
*
dunno what they doing ==

nope, cheapest plan they offer is RM 78
*value 1st = RM 30

not 2 plan, 1 is data plan, another 1 is voice and sms plan (those value 1st, 50, 80 ...)

Do not use DIgi service.. their network and reception is a complete joke, i need to have multiple attempts to make a single call!! i cant receive nor send sms without trying less than 5 times! i get interruption on a call every 10 mins.
the frustrating level of using Digi is indescribable! sometimes it makes me want to throw my phone on the ground becoz of the stupid service by Digi.  mad.gif
*
Oh. I can vouch for you. Although I did not hit that extreme.
My problems was mostly with their 3G service. It is never stable.
It just keeps going on and off. It gets pretty frustrating at times.

As for the phone line. In certain areas, I can only keep a conversation going for a couple of minutes and it breaks off and we need to call each other again.

Thanks man. I am actually feeling grateful now that they made such a good blunder.
I can finally move away from Digi to a better network.

They stated choose a rate plan + choose a data plan.
Meaning that the cheapest package is RM30 + RM48 =78?
Im currently under the value first 30.
If that's the case, I think just get S3 + internet value plan 50, unless your calls and sms is above rm30 comitment. A smart phone without data plan, seems like a dead phone. Unless have wifi all the time.

It does not look like an official Samsung extended warranty.

it is a legit company, i've seen they advertise in magazine, even digi got promotion one time of buying their phone and get extended warranty from mobisure.

this is what i can scrap from digi website, cause their promotion ended, but this does show that digi use mobisure for the extended warranty
http://www.digi.com.my/PhonesDevices/extra...d_overview.html

http://www.mobisure.com.my/Products/ExtendedWarranty.aspx

as they said here,

QUOTE
Extend your protection for better peace of mind.
1 year extension of manufacturers warranty
Free parts replacement for breakdown and mechanical failure
Irrepairable phones replaced with new handsets
No exces fee payable when making a claim
*Only for customers residing in Malaysia

and their price is not expensive, one x to extend only 115.

it is not official warranty by samsung, but i think you can trust them more then sending your phone to any normal phone shop

But you can't send it back to samsung service center after 1 year right?
anyway, thanks for the information. if no official extended warranty, mobisure is a great choice.

Just had a really bad time with the Digi Consultants and Technicians...

Think I'll either go wear blue or just get the normal package from Celcom or Maxis when they announce.

Trying to pre-order, it says that I have a contract still running. Made a call to Digi Consultants, they say I need to pay the penalty and admin fee which is around RM266 as I have 4 months left. So I went to a Digi Centre to settle the penalty and admin fee to cancel the contract to get the pre-order.

I reach home, I try again and I get the same error. I called the Digi Consultant and they told me that the Technical Consultant can help me update my account. After the 2nd try, I finally reach them and they told me it takes 48 hours to update the system. So in other words the pre-order is already over.

Thanks to their blunder, which they can only tell me "Sorry", I have now cancelled my contract for no reason and have to wait 2 days for the status to update, which in other words I am not eligible for their pre-order anymore. They can't even help me place an order, only put a report to their "vendor" so they can fix it for me in 2 days.

That was really nice of them. I can finally move on to another network I guess? smile.gif

Sorry to hear this, but I had a similar situation with different experience. My contract is done in 1 week, so i just ordered online. Went through no problems.

Later only i called Digi and asked, and they confirmed yes, i am charged early termination RM140, which will be billed to me. Other than that ok, I'm still confirmed for the S3 tomorrow...

So maybe you should just order online. Their system not so sophisticated to detect you still have a contract i think. Mine got through just fine.

I feel for you bro. Good luck.

This is why the Pebble Blue Samsung Galaxy S III is delayed

Ladies and Gentlemen, the reason the Samsung Galaxy S III in Pebble Blue has been delayed two to three weeks. We had heard Samsung somehow botched the paint job, but now we have visual confirmation of the problem. A European mobile blog received an early version of the device and and pictures clearly show a splotchy white tinge to the finish. Hopefully they figure out the issue and get the phone back on track, or we might be expecting some serious delays with a much more limited supply of GS3s on the market.

i used to like Digi... till i discovered u mobile. what really made me look at u mobile is the download speed. 99% of my time, i'm in KL/PJ and using a prepaid, i tested and confirmed available at most of my frequent places... so, moved over to u mobile.

the thing is... smartphones these days can have download speeds of up to 20+mbps... i think even more with newer phones. so why be limited by digi's speed cap of 728kbps? i dun mind a download quota but i realised... why be limited by both speed and download quota?

of course, outside of the main coverage area, u mobile will use celcom network and data can really crawl... i think only 2g data when roaming... but other users can confirm if its otherwise...

Kimchi shld have just released.
Actually, according to many forummers here, it doesn't matter mah.
Everybody uses a casing so such horrible defects can be hidden.

Just make sure the casing quality is good.
