tips to survive lag,
always put escape shortcut near to ur spell...incase low health can quit diablo

And yes, we beat butcher. While I was level 11!!!! Too bad no achievement for beating boss while under level-ed

When it comes to lag, all characters are just as easily screwed!

So don't worry too much. Just create one that you are comfortable with and join the fun. Keyword here is fun. It's all for fun so don't take things too seriously.

Also for hardcore, you must remember that your character is ALREADY DEAD at the time of creation. He/she will die. That's a fact. It's just a matter of time. So try not to get too attached to it.

Below are some tips for playing hardcore:

1. DO NOT ZERG RUSH ANYTHING! It pays to be cautious. Even if you are facing lowly zombies, if you're surrounded and cornered with no way out, you're screwed.
2. Take it slow. No need to rush. Take your time to explore the map.
3. Learn to run away when you sense danger. Faced with too many mobs at one time? Surprised by a bunch of mobs after turning a corner? RUN! Run for your lives! Hahaha. It will keep your character alive for the next fight.
4. When you run, run to areas of the map that you have already cleared! Else you may find more mobs chasing after you.
5. When playing co-op : stick together and face mobs as a team. The sum is greater than the total of all the parts. As much as possible, keep one another alive and out of danger.

And last but not least : HAVE FUN!

When your HC character dies, learn to laugh at the situation.

Isn't that monk had the advantage on this as they tends to have active healing available to cast on critical time? and that can affect party member also.

Just that he needs to tank.

and this is the main reason not to play pub games. 1 game i joined, 2 people just keep rushing, leaving me and another barb left behind. nearly died of mobs because of that.

and it's hard to laugh when ur toon is dead because of lag.
