Walau didn't know still got many magic players after so long..
If u guys need cards u can head down to Comic corner, dj on saturdays.
Most of the magic tourney regulars come here to trade/play/sell/random manic draft on Sat afternoon.
Also lots of ex-magic players are here so u might get what old stuff u want here.
U can try your luck on sunday but i only see a few magic guys on Sundays.

PS: if anyone is playing l5r can let me know cuz i need some cards. thanks.

not sure lar, but my fren blue + white deck is very irritate me wei.

remand + mana leak + hinder = 1st 4 turn i couldnt deal him any damage.

after that exhaust, tapped permanent doesnt untap the next turn. Or wrath of god he cast, all my creature say bye. Then either his debtor knell or Yosei will come out. very annoy la me.

We're Regular patrons except during tourneys period la... got what nonsense also got.
If i knew pain lands, BoP n WoG so high priced now, i should've kept mine.
the uncle usually open leftover packs with the guys and what he gets he keeps la.. so he prob wont have all your stuff.

If u wanna check the players there on the day u can call the uncle on sats la or ask him when they come. The number is 77258528 ..Usually players come after lunch time.. so dont come too early cuz we r all sleeping lazy buggers

On another note RPG players come early on Sundays around 12-ish so anyone wanna participate for DnD can come.

i met a guy that remand, mana leak, then exhaust me 3x in a row b4 destroying or stealing my lands lol...
its kidna fun to annoy with yosei lol...
with 2 knells u can bring out 2 yoseis lol then bring out 2 kokusho and repeat the loop if u want lol...
i find worship works great lol eventoguh i almost got killed by my 3 arenas ont he field lol...
i find land stealings/ destroy is annoying lol... u'll loose all ur momentum if u deck need lots of mana like mine lol...

i tried my first game of casual drafting today and it was a total disaster

i got nervous mid-way through the draft since i was really slow. so eventually i just picked whatever cards that suited my colour. i ended up with a blue-black deck which couldn't decide whether it's a control or aggro deck. sigh.

ipoh players aren't that friendly either especially to noobs so i was rather made fun of also. sigh

haha...poor little guy....once upon a time ago those players tat think they "pro" also make fun of me. Just prove ur strength to them, i mean practice n practice until u are good, and prove them wrong, shame on them! at least this is wat i did

Where did you play in ipoh?

well i went for gpt manila today. didn't do that well either i was eliminated on the very first round. but later that evening they had another casual draft and this time i was much more calm and was able to draft an okie g/r/w deck which got me 3rd place (out of 6 ppl la )

didn't get any nice foils. i sold my 6 boosters for rm50. turns out there was a steam vents and burning tree shaman in those 6 packs


well there isn't many places to ipoh now is there?

i guess i'll just have to earn the respect from those seasoned players and not expect any kinda sympathy from them just because i'm a noob

L5r is what ? The amcorp here got 2 TCG shop.

1 is Toybox another 1 is wolfshop. Wolfshop most of the people here play RPG games and the WarHammer.

l5r is another card game but involving samurai's.
Toybox got magic tourney meh? didn't know that. I'm familiar with the wolf shop guys la. So i frequent there.

toybox got sell magic but no magic tourney geh. ^^

I went pass wolf's shop the other day. I only saw a standing Ravnica banner so I figure he stop selling those old common cards. Anyone knows if he's still selling those?
