no one?
its jz an idea lol...

RG land-d deck idea...
destroy lands till u got 4 mana then put this fatty...
ur opponent must then sac their land or face a 6/6 trample (which would kill them kinda fast)..
to help that process u can destroy more land next turn if your opponent let it resolve (most likely scenario)...
still kidna hard in block as u lack the meteor rain and so from T2...

i got a feeling my fren's RU block deck would be running shivan wumpus land control as well...
will only paly against him next monday sicne he's busy with assignment...

Not a bad idea , but you'll need tons of mana to pull it off. The magus is also UUU which is kinda hard to set up a mana base.

Mono red can splash blue for Psionic Blast, I don't see why a Mono Blue can't splash red for Shivan Wumpus. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I think he had a Land-D theme in the first place. So I naturally guessed that his main colour would be red , since in the current environment Red / Green has the most Land-D potential. That being the case , I assumed that the blue would be his secondary colour thus making the UUU difficult to achieve. Unless of course he is would be going for disruption e.g. bounce permanents.

but in block most red land-D need 4 mana to powerup...
can be a major problem...
i feel land-d would be awesome in blue/redd more than any colour for block due to disruption and counter (plus magus of the future =p)

can turn 2 harmonize and so on...

I think as much as the Vineyard can help turbo your deck , it can probably help turbo your opponent too. Keep in mind that unless you flash the Vineyard out end of the turn , your opponent will have access to the mana first. Another thing to note is currently the environment is full of morph creatures which makes it easier for people to use up the 2 additional mana you provided them.

Of course if you opponent is heavy on control he will probably take 2 points of mana burn each turn laugh.gif

more like a double edge sword...
this deck would utilize the power of magus of the vineyard to speed up the deck for ur fatties like spectral force and groundbreaker...
can easily turn 2 harmonize which let u draw 3 more cards..
high risk is that ur opponent would use the extra mana to blast ur magus (which really really really hurt u badly)...
another problem is ur opponent can use the mana provided to power up mass removals like damnation, wrath of god and even VOID!!!!
if he decided not to then ur deck would surely race faster than his...
as the green mana provided benefit u more than the other unless he's using mono green deck as well...

Added on May 18, 2007, 12:41 pmoh ya u can throw in the creature which if tap woudl reduce the casting cost of creatures by 2 colourless...
