I've just repickup this game again few days ago after many years of not playing. I've not yet played a game yet but I've already constructed a black-red, type 2 deck. Where/what time do you guys usually play?

Anyone knows if there's any shops still running the Friday Night Magic event?

So far I've been told that the Wolf's have theirs on Wednesday nights, though it seems there's more Warhammer than Magic players in that small shop. I've the Wizards' website and sadly, it seems that Comic Corners no longer runs the event (someone please tell me it's not true), and ironically there's more emphasis on Pokemon in that store. Damn kids.

Many years ago I quit for that exact reason - it was too expensive to keep your deck up to date, standard wise. Back in those days, there were many players too, and we used to hang out in Game Castle (I think) every weekends, near the Atria shopping complex in Damansara.

Now that I've got a job, I guess I can afford buying the cards, buy boosters by the box, etc. and the ironic thing is, hardly anyone plays the game these days. It's seems to me Warhammer and Warmachine (think that's the name), and even Pokemon are the current popular card trading games now.

I hope this Wednesday, the FNM will still be on at Wolf's, Amcorp. Though sadly, according to the DCI website, that store has been listed as delinquent for not reporting back to Wizards the match results. In other words that store may be banned in the future from organizing any DCI santioned tourneys and events. Aisay, typical Malaysian habits

Shaun told me the other day that he would bring his white weenie deck to the tourney.

I was anxious on whether to bring the white weenie deck to the tournament also but decided that I should playtest more online instead, without any Serra Avenger. What caught my attention was the mono red sligh deck and mono black control deck with null profusion. Need to play more games...

I've just went through the almost-complete spoiler for FS. Very few outstanding cards, but the rest is meh. Will not be coming for the prerelease/release party etc.
