I think is 10% on your total sum insured. Need to confirm with insurance company. If our car sum insured =70,000. Flood insurance will cover 7000. Someone correct me if i am wrong...

QUOTE(fulat @ May 24 2012, 06:05 PM) Your motor policy does not cover damage by flood. The premium for this additional cover is 0.50% of your vehicle sum insured. If not mistaken, is depend on how much that you want to cover also. 0.50% premium can cover how much for the flood protection? i means pay RM350 to cover maximum how much for flood protection. e.g RM 10% of Sum insured 70,000=RM7000 max payout? |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ May 25 2012, 10:09 AM) actually after reading it carefully i understood how they wrote the book liao. its kindda make sense in a confusing way coz the never sentence it properly.... Bro,what it basically says is beside item listed in the next 2 sections... EVERYTHING ELSE is covered 5 years. power window is 10 years and have a special section of its own. then the next section talks about item that falls 3 years warranty.... which basically covers all wear and tear stuff like hose, bearing, bla bla... but got one bad news is your turbo unit is only 3 years warranty. but other parts of the engine is 5 years... if i not mistaken the vvt system falls under 5 years as well coz it was not mention. then also quite a bad news is battery and exhaust system only 12 month / 20,000 km warranty.... i not sure about factory fitted turbo car but BOT i can always hear ppl bocor here n there at their exhaust coz of the high temp. 1 year warranty feel quite short for me. Congratulations for your new babe borns.... Thanks for your sharing, i will review my service booklet once i got my car. If there is discrepancy, i will shoot up Proton until gao gao this round. Really no face given, one words sorry to say so if goes until Tribunal Courts or ETC. I want them to pay back what i suppose to get I dam angry you know? |

Yes, is good, this what proton should do to ensure no others victim getting the same lemon unit. I hope all buyers or owner are protected with the product that there are getting on. Potong is under strict observation it seems, lots of ppl interested to see they fail. Hmmm Becoz i want to see Proton really committed to be better in other perspective also. Hmm, suddenly in my mind come out another question:
How do we know whether the turbo work or not work in our CFE Engine? I got this question when our Bro White Lighther raised up the Turbo warranty periods stated in the service booklet. This post has been edited by kiapreve: May 25 2012, 10:20 AM |

Turn left "Pssstttt" Last week, when i drive to tg sepat at the KLIA highway there, vios and city is easily take over me. Flashing the headlamp back at my car, i try to press the oil pedal, seem like it can goes only until 120KM very slow...I didn't fill in also, coz my SA attached photocopy of the geran in the service booklet When you tekan hard and still got Vios overtake you. End up i move to the right and let them take over, may be i am not good in driving or my car experience the engine probs as what happen now. |

QUOTE(dares @ May 25 2012, 11:53 AM) Try again when you get your car back I am not using anyone of this. Let me share out my experience later Even during my test drive with the sluggish pickup, once up to speed I seriously don't think a dugong can catch up with Preve's acceleration. Were you in S mode or using paddle shift? |
