it's diagonally opposite the North Bridge Road exit of City Hall MRT station. basically the building before you cross the traffic lights to Funan Digital Mall.

right next to that exit (on the left) is a church. if you turn right, it's heading towards Raffles City mall.

One flash also can Sioe. Just find a wall or any reflective surface to bounce the llight.

I only use one Fl36 but no "R" need to use cable if want to use off camera.

Cathay Photo is one of the fav. of photo enthusiast in Singapore. I've been there many times when in Singapore and have gotten quite a number of my stuff there. I just recently went to and got a Gitzo Carbon Fiber Monopod. I got my D300 there many years ago.

Oh i agree that a single fl36 does great for most settings but having two can work wonders for many setups too. =)

nice shots BTW!

As i gathering for info on Metz flashes, there are comments from owners and users of this flashes saying that when mounted on a 4/3 camera, apparently the flash focal length do not display correctly, the flash seems to be built for ff/aps-c size sensor... sweat.gif
How true is it?...

Try go to digital mall PJ. Around RM850-930 I heard. I bought it at RM920 in Penang. Superb lens for portrait.

Guys, i just finished toying around with my 2 units of fl36r and I must say, olympus has seriously got to review their Lighting methods!

In order for the 2 flash units to go into RC Mode, the OMD mini flash must b hooked onto the camera. meaning, i cant attach one FL36R onto the OMD and then use it and also trigger the other FL36R unit remotely. =(

The 2 units must be detached from the camera, set in RC mode and then with the mini OMD Flash, they r triggered when the mini flash fires. Indirectly, the flashes are using the light from the FL36R as a trigger mechanism. =/

But I dont want to lug the mini flash everywhere i go. I want to do away with it. Anyone have any idea how?

really?
that sounds bad...
so meaning the OM-D flash is the commander and the FL36r can only be a slave?
u cannot use the FL36r as commander?
hmm.gif

Exactly. Bang on the target. OMD pop up is the commander. FL36R lack the ability to do so
