QUOTE(kenary820 @ Feb 27 2013, 03:12 PM) you can buy raynox attach on you kitlens or old manual macro lens at lesser cost to enjoy macro photography..so far I haven't come across ET for m43. Kenary - i was considering the raynox but in the opted to buy the Olympus 12-50mm lens as it has a macro capability though not on 1:1. Will the raynox give a better macro shot? |

Will the raynox give a better macro shot? depend on what you plan too shoot and where you plan to bring your foot. for butterfly thats more thn enough. for smaller subject such as spider you might consider longer lens. I have raynox 250 which need very close distance, i think less than obe feet. if you thinking buying 40-150mm I might suggest getting raynox 150. All I can say 40-150 + raynox250 you can get more magnification than using macro lens like 100mm on crop sensor. My advice buy the raynox 150 or 250, learn how to use then decide later if you need longer lens. I think you can ge 40-150 used around rm350-500. The next thing you need to consider is your lighting..but dat something to discuss later till you get your raynox and share your test shot hehe..Goodluck. |

I did some test and the object obvioustly bigger with the 150mm end. But the downside is the bokeh is very shallow already.. I think the M43 FB group has many sifus willingly to help u there.. Just make a simple fb acc and i'll invite u there.. |

Great pictures here guys, here's mine to share. Oly EP3 with kit lens.
Was on holiday when i took this, noisier than I'd like. ![]() Crossings by JonDoyou, on Flickr Anyway, wanted to ask if you guys have any suggestions for Wide Angle lenses for m43? Everything made for m43 seems so expensive Until now i still haven't gotten a replacement for my kit lens to do landscapes and street cause i cant afford the wide angles on market. |
