LOL. More drivers =/= SQ, especially at the high-end stuffs, since they have specific taste or sound signature which might not appeal to all.

The good feature about Hippo VB as you can adjust the bass around to suit your taste and different music genre. Direct competing is pretty hard as VB doesn't have a fix signature due to the bass changeable.
Heaven II has great tonality for Vocal, classical, instrument while Adagio II has great punch and impact on bass. |

Although Hippo VB can adjust variation bass, but 2 yrs I used is never change bass node (2 yrs ady oso use no dot bass note which is the most heavy bass) to listen genre music i have state above.. haha. So, I believe FAD Adiago II & III or Heaven II would may b suit me.. I trust my ear Heaven II has great tonality for Vocal, classical, instrument while Adagio II has great punch and impact on bass. |

Those i've mentioned are below your budget if you google them onlineso, stick on my plan.. hehe 1) Vsonic GR07 - SGD125 http://www.lendmeurears.com/vsonic/ 2) TDK BA200 - USD138 http://www.ebay.com/itm/TDK-BA200-High-Tex...0-/300899428806 3) T-Peos Altone200 - USD125 http://www.head-fi.org/t/724471/t-peos-ann...order-limitedly 4) RE400 - USD99 http://www.amazon.com/HiFiMAn-Electronics-...&keywords=re400 5) Zero Audio Carbo Tenore - USD53 http://www.amazon.com/AUDIO-ear-stereo-hea...T/dp/B0093VVP0Q For Dunu-1000 would be around USD175, but reviews are quite favourable for this. QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Aug 18 2014, 02:18 PM) Haha~ Adagio II & III the bass too punchy too wide for me... not solid and precise enough, details and treble is ok. Sony XBA-H1 the bass solid and precise but less a bit on treble and details on the sound. I prefer (solid and precise bass most likely Sony XBA-H1; the treble and details most likely with FAD Heaven II) = FAD Heaven IV. I'm in love with it, but too bad is over my budget~ sob sob... (determine to save money for have 1, hmmm) Now I really believe Lego Warfare and un_id said... once down the audio pit of no return; will never be in peace again.. your ears will be a fat scumbag, want to eat more and more.. oh gosh.. QUOTE(vexus @ Oct 22 2014, 10:55 AM) Heaven 2,4, 5, 6...etc.Well, yeah. the flat cable could be a nuisance, so that's why we often install a clip on to the shirt so it won't be a bother lol. Lagipun, I kinda prefer the smoother sound of Heaven compared to Adagio. |

It can be good or bad, flat cable provides better durability and tangle-free?

Arghhhh!!! This happened to my Pandora Hope VI...! Just entering 3rd month! Lucky it is warrantied by Jaben..
Accordingly I got the 1st production batch, the pads are known for the glue vs. Malaysian hot/humid weather problem. Exchanged with Hope IV pads. A little stiff sponge but as comfortable as before. FOC! Attached thumbnail(s) |
